Power delivery

Demand for sustainable power is growing worldwide. Energy producers are broadening their offerings for a quickly evolving marketplace. Forward-thinking power grid design This evolution has created a need for forward-thinking power grid designs that can effortlessly integrate everything from electric vehicle power stations to solar roads and more. With over a century of experience in the power sector, we can help you overcome the challenges of aging infrastructure, plan for grid integration and build an asset to meet consumers energy needs for today and tomorrow. Our experience is equivalent to powering New York City 35 3 TIMES with power lines TIMES and circling the globe

A sustainable approach to the grid Community-inclusive design We account for socio-economic factors and community engagement in our design, delivery and training. Ask us how we are helping communities grow with our Local Resource Development Initiative (LRDI ). Environmental engineering From impact studies to post-project remediation, we overcome sustainability challenges and set new standards of excellence. Ask us how we reduced the environmental impact of a 1,491-mi transmission line through Brazil by using HVDC technology. With sustainability at the heart of each project, we put the communities we operate in first. Safety first culture With proper training and preparation, every project is set up for safety success from the start. We are focused on achieving zero lost-time incidents. Ask us how our StepBack program is ensuring collaborative worksite safety. Client-centered systems We apply the best of local and international IEEE, CIGRE and ISO engineering and quality standards to facilitate project development. Ask us how we helped a client develop their internal design standards for a Static VAR compensator system. Renewable energy integration We develop complex power system designs that are reliable, adaptive and sustainable. Ask us how our renewable integration plan helped reduce CO 2 emissions in the US to an equivalent of planting 440,000 trees. Ethics and compliance Across our value chain, we ensure that our operations meet the highest ethics and compliance standards. Ask us how our compliance action plan is woven into our workstreams. 1

Versatile solutions for every market We deliver our versatile capabilities across the industrial, municipal, agriculture and power sectors. Power AltaLink Program Management Portfolio Canada For over a decade, we combined our engineering, construction, financing and asset management expertise to connect an impressive power system of up to 500 kv, resulting in a viable sale to Berkshire Hathaway Energy. Lower Churchill Project Canada We combined our complete power package to fulfill our mandate to deliver an 824-MW hydroelectric power plant, over 932 mi of ± 350-kV HVDC and 315-kV HVAC transmission lines, and seven air-insulated converter and transition substations. USA Program Management USA Our engineering design for renewable transmission upgrades and existing infrastructure improvements helped deliver reliable power and increased access to new wind energy projects. Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Project Persian Gulf Our owner s engineering services interconnected a 400-kV HVDC system to six countries with six GIS substations, 621 mi of AC lines, 28 mi of submarine cables and three back-to-back HVDC converter stations. Keewatinohk Switchyard Project Canada Our expertise in 230-kV AC switchyard design, construction and commissioning for hydroelectric power facilities will improve the reliability and operational flexibility of the HVDC system. Industrial ExxonMobil Substation 67 Project USA Our replacement of an aging 69/13.8-kV substation and reconfiguration of the loads for three substations helped increase the reliability of the Baytown petroleum and petrochemical complex, as well as reduce the impact of a potential substation failure. Municipal Long-Term Water and Fuel Development Plan Saudi Arabia The plan will allow for greater flexibility to meet anticipated growth demands over the next 25 years, to diversify the economy and to employ more Saudi nationals, while reducing the overall costs of infrastructure development. 3

Sustainable operations From planning, studies and EPC, to training programs, asset management and operations and maintenance, we deliver Tier-1 engineering and construction of transmission and distribution solutions at any stage of the project.
