1. General describe This is a measure temperature, relative humidity, Carbon dioxide(co2), Volatile organic compounds gas(voc) reading and make it to monitor, control, output device. Device is use for indoor flue pipe install. It can choose LCD display or LED indicate model. Every measure function can set alarm limit by user. 3 relay can be set to difference alarm action. Analogy output can choose 4~20mA or 0~5V/0~10V function. Communication can choose USB, RS485, RF, LAN connection, all communication use same Modbus protocol. Power supply can use 12VDC, 24VAC/DC or 110/220VAC. 2. Notice for use Please follow the manual guide to use device. Please use the type of power supply that like the mark on device. Do not connection wrong type power to the power input terminal. Make sure the power is on the rate of voltage. Power lead in the disturb can make the measurement unstable. Do not operate the device around explosive gas, vapor, or dust and water. Do not operate the device when part of case removed. Disconnect all the wire before open the case. Make sure the rated voltage and rated current is

suitable before use relay to connect the external equipment. Please finish wiring before live wire is on. Make sure the connection is good between wire and terminal socket. When real time clock is not work please follow the manual to change the memory battery. 3. 4. Operation introduce Touch Menu key the meter will display the system setting GUI Password Setting: If the machine is settled password, the following GUI will be displayed. Password can be changed in menu setting.

The initial GUI has four setting options: FUNCTION SETTING, COMMUNICATION&TIME, MEASURE SETTING and USER CALIBRATION. On the top of right, press RETURN will exit the menu setting On the bottom of left will display it s version FUNCTION SETTING: After entering function setting, there are four setting option: LIMITING SETTING, RELAY SETTING, ANALOG OUTPUT, LCD SETTING.

Now you are located in MENU\FUNCTION. LIMITING SETTING: There are seven limit setting: Temperature high limit, Temperature low limit, Humidity high limit, Humidity low limit, CO2 high limit, VOC high limit, CO2 sound alarm limit. For example: you want the machine gives alarm when temperature is higher than 30 Press the < or > key to switch temperature high limit, then press ON/OFF key to open this function and enter 30 press Save key to order the meter execute this instruction. When temperature is higher than 30 the flag will be triggered, you may read the flag by check the internal register( please infer the meter s internal register table). Note : If you want to relay gives action, please enter RELAY SETTING menu.

RELAY SETTING CHANNEL SELECT: There are three channels for you to set. Press < or > key to switch Every channel is independent. CHANNEL SETTING: There are seven choice for you to set. Temperature high limit, Temperature low limit, Humidity high limit, Humidity low limit, CO2 high limit, VOC high limit, Air quality auto(co2 or VOC whatever trigger the limited ) TOLERANCE SETTING: When CHANNEL SETTING is not TURN OFF ALARM, here are nine choice for you to set. This function control the relay not to work so frequently. For example: Condition: Alarm Channel 1 was set to CO2 high limit (CO2 high limit is opened and the limited value = 1000) Tolerance was set to 20% Then press the SAVE key to order the machine to execute your instruction. The relay 1 work period: When CO2 value is bigger than 1000, the relay 1 will give action, and when the CO2 Value is drop to 800, the relay relases the action.

ANALOG OUTPUT The meter can output the measure value output as analog voltage or current. Voltage range: 0~5V or 0~10V Current range: 4~20mA Example : If you want to output type in voltage and voltage range is 0~10V Press < or > key to switch the voltage one the first item. Press < or > key to switch the range 0~10V. Then press the SAVE key to order the machine to execute your instruction. If you want to change voltage or current, you should change the connection of j3,j4,j9,j10,j11,j12

LCD SETTING There are four choice for you to set: SET BRIGHTNESS, BACKLIGHT DELAY, LCD OFF PERIOD, PASSWORD SETTING SET BRIGHTNESS : Range is 1~5 BACKLIGHT DELAY : Range is 5~60. Example : If you set this value is 5, after setting, you don t touch the screen till 5 seconds, the brightness is drop down. LCD OFF PERIOD : Here is set the screen backlight will turn off on this period Example : if you set 18:00~06:00, when time is 18:00, the screen backlight will turn off till next morning 06:00 if you don't touch the screen during this period. If you touch this screen, lcd backlight will turn on for a time(backlight DELAY), then turn off the backlight. PASSWORD SETTING : Keep the meter work more safety.

COMMUNICATION & TIME Now you are located in MENU\COMMUN&TIME COMMUN INTERFACE There are for communication types for you to choose. 485 : If your choice is RS485, please set here and press SAVE key. RF : If your choice is RF, please set here and press SAVE key. LAN: If your choice is LAN, please set here and press SAVE key. (IP ADDRESS also need ) USB: If your choice is USB, please set here and press SAVE key.

LAN SETTING In communication interface, if you use LAN type, here is need to be settled. You can press < or > key to switch IP ADDRESS or MAC ADDRESS Then press the SAVE key to order the machine to execute your instruction. TIME SETTING Here you can set time and date. Press < or > key to switch TIME or DATE Input the current time or date into meter Then press the SAVE key to order the machine to execute your instruction.

LOCAL ADDRESS Every meter has itself address, it s very important to communication. It will no respond if the local address is not correct. MEASURE SETTING Now you are located in MENU\MEASURE SETTING

SAMPLE RATE You can set sample rate : 2~3600 Example : If you set SAMPLE RATE as 2, it means the meter will make a measurement every 2 seconds. Then press the SAVE key to order the machine to execute your instruction. TEMPERATURE UNIT There are two kinds of unit in temperature. You can set the unit as or Then press the SAVE key to order the machine to execute your instruction. USER CALIBRATION

Now you are located in MENU\USER CAL There are five item you can make calibration, temperature, humidity, CO2, VOC, touch cal. When you want to calibrate VOC, just press ENTER key, the meter will automatic self-calibration. TEMPERATURE CAL Enter the current temperature in the box and press OK to complete the calibration. RH CAL Enter the current humidity in the box and press OK to complete the calibration.

CO2 CAL Enter the current CO2 value in the box and press OK to complete the calibration. 5. Application: Power connection Connect the power on the rated, wire use 16~22AWG. USB connect Use USB cable connect the mini-usb port at the left side of device and the computer. When install drivers on the computer, it will recognize a virtual COM port. Use the virtual port

communicate to slaver device. RS485 connect Wiring RS485 A, B socket terminal connect into RS485 bus. RS485 bus suggest use daisy chain connection. Wire use 4core twisted-pair with shield, and core is 18~22AGW. At RS485 bus first device and last device connect a 120 ohm/1w resistance on A and B line. Total bus length do not exceed 1200 meters, whole bus most connect 200 slaver device. Each device common voltage cannot over -7~12V. Slaver device must set a slave address and set communication with RS485 mode before connect to bus. Wireless RF connect Wireless RF communication distance most 400meters at the open area. Slaver device must set a slave address and set communication with RS485 mode before connect to bus. Connect the RF adapter to computer, then install drivers, computer can be recognize a virtual COM port. Use the virtual port communicate to slaver device. LAN connect Slaver device must set a slave address/ip and MAC address and set communication with LAN mode before connect to bus. Then connect the LAN with LAN socket terminal. Host can link with TCP protocol 1200 port to slave

device. Relay output connection and setting There are 3 channel independent relays. Relay is dry contact common open type. Rated voltage max 220VAC, rated current max 10A. It can be set the relay function and control limit at t he system setting menu. When device state is catch the control limit, then relay will action. Relay can be set to control by host with communication command. Analogy output connection and setting There are 3 channel of analogy output, first channel is Humidity output, second channel is temperature output, third channel is CO2 output. Analogy output can set to voltage output or current output, voltage output is 0~10V, current output is 4~20mA. Temperature: 0 is zero scale,50 is full scale; Humidity: 0%RH is zero scale, 100%RH is full scale. CO2: 0ppm is zero scale, 3000ppm is full scale 6. Communication protocol Communication protocol use ModBus, support LAN, RF(433MHz), RS485, USB. More detail please read appendix: VAT series

When the meter needs repair, please send it to experienced professionals or the appointed maintenance department for repairing. 1 general maintance To avoid electrical shock or damage the instrument, do not wet the inside of the instrument. Before opening the case, you should check to make sure that all connections to the instrument are disconnect. It should use soft cloth but not organic solvents which

have corrosive and dissolving effect on the shell of meter to clean the meter, and it should guard against water dropping into the meter. 2 Replace the battery To avoid electrical shock or damage the instrument. Before opening the case, you should check to make sure that all connections to the instrument are disconnect. Follow these steps to replace the battery when the real-time clock of the instrument can not be powered down to save: 1. Move all connections to the meter. 2. Use a screwdriver to remove the four screws in the back cover. 3. Remove the old battery. 4. Replace the battery of CR1220 3V 5.
