3. Accessing the Applicatin 3.1 Installatin T install sftware please run Release 5.3 Install applicatin and fllw installatin instructins. 3.1.1 Release 5.3 Install Step1. Step3. Select Install Lcatin and press Install. After installatin yu ll see next windw. Step4. Press Restart. Cmputer will restart. Then yu can start t setup the sftware. 3.2 Setup Sftware setup shuld be dne by Using Mamba Manager Cntrl Panel. Als yu need have TCP/IP installed and cnfigured n Yur Mac. 3.2.1 Mamba Manager Step1. Yu ll see this next windw. Step2. Setup Hstname, Wrkgrup, and User. Hstname with this name Mac cmputer will appear in Windws Netwrk. If yu have DNS server in yur netwrk that it is better t put here DNS name f Mac. Wrkgrup Mac will be member f this Wrkgrup. User By default all authrizatin will be dne with using this user. If yu have Dmain Cntrller in yu netwrk it is better t put here registered dmain user. Disable Check this bx t disable MAC/PC and PC/MAC Cmmunicatin Sftware. Disable bx will be autmatically checked by sftware in case f changing f netwrk hardware assigned t TCP/IP. Yu need manually uncheck this bx t enable sftware. Step3. Setup list f shares. Add Vlumes and Flder Yu need t share by using Drag n Drp. Fr example, select Flder in Finder and Drag n Drp it int Mamba Manager. WINDOWS NETWORK USER MANUAL 9 / 15
Step4. Edit share. Select share in a list. Edit Share name, check Read nly if yu need and Press Apply. Step5. Delete share. Select share in a list. Press Delete. Step6. After setup Hstname, Wrkgrup, User and list f shares yu shuld quit by pressing %+Q r selecting Quit frm File menu. 3.3 Munting Shared Vlume T munt Shared Vlumes please use Windws Netwrk applicatin. 3.3.1 Windws Netwrk Step1. Cunt f munted flders is dependent frm free memry size f Yur Mac. Once yu ve munted flder yu can start wrking with it. 3.4 Wrking With Munted Shared Flder Wrking with Munted Shared Flder is equal t wrking with Mac Files and Flders. Please refer Inside Macintsh dcumentatin t get additinal infrmatin. 3.5 Wrking with Mac Shared Flder frm Windws Side Wrking with Mac Shared Flder is equal t wrking with any ther netwrk place. Please refer Windws dcumentatin t get additinal infrmatin. Once yu ve setuped MAC/PC and PC/MAC Cmmunicatin Sftware yu can wrk with Mac Shared Flders. 3.6 Unmunting Munted Vlume Unmunt Munted Vlume by Drag n Drp its icn frm Desktp int Trash. 3.7 Uninstallatin T uninstall sftware run Uninstall Windws Netwrk frm Install Lcatin.
