How to Use Your EV Connect Account Accessing the EV Connect Network To access the EV Connect network, point your web browser to http://network.evconnect.com. This brings you to the account login page. Logging into your account To login to your user account, type in your username and password. Your username is the email address you indicated during the signup process. If this is your first time logging into your account, the password is set to evconnect. Resetting your password If you forget your password, click the Forgot Password? button located on the bottom of the login page. This brings you to a page that prompts you to enter your email address and type in a verification code before hitting the blue Submit button. This sends you an email with a new password.
Modifying your profile To modify your profile, click on the Profile tab on the top of the page. This brings you to your account profile page. Click on the green Edit Profile button located near the upper right hand corner of the page. From this page you can edit your personal information on how you would like to receive notifications (via email, SMS, or both) and which notifications to receive. Once you have updated your profile, click the blue Save button located on the right hand side of the page. Changing your password You can change your password once you are logged into your account. To do this, click on the Profile tab on the top of the page. This brings you to your account profile page. Once on your profile page, click on the green Change Password button located near the upper right hand corner of the page. You will be prompted to enter your old password along with your new password. After you have entered this information, click the blue Save button located on the right hand side of the page.
Viewing your charging credit balance To view your charging credit balance, click on the Home tab on the top of the page (this is the default page after logging in). Your credit balance is listed near the top of the page underneath the welcome message. Purchasing additional credits (if applicable) Navigate to the Home tab. To purchase additional credits, click the blue Buy Credits button located near the top of the page next to your account balance. This leads you to a page with a drop-down selection menu of plans for $20, $50, and $100 (2000, 5000, and 10000 charging credits respectively). Once you have selected a plan, click the blue PayPal Buy Now button on the right hand side of the page. This brings you to a PayPal page for payment. You can either pay using an existing PayPal account (if you have one) or click on the Don t Have A PayPal Account? option and pay with a credit card. Note this is a onetime transaction.
Setting up automatic monthly renewal of credits (if applicable) You can setup your account to automatically purchase charging credits each month. To do this, click the blue Set Auto-Pay button located next to the Buy Credits button towards the top of the page. This leads you to a drop-down selection menu of monthly plans for $10 and $20 (1000 and 2000 charging credits respectively). Once you have selected a plan, click the blue PayPal AutoPay button on the right hand side of the page. This brings you to a PayPal page for payment. You can either pay using an existing PayPal account (if you have one) or create an account from this page. You must have a PayPal account in order monthly renewal option. This initiates a monthly payment plan for the number of charging credits you choose based on the available plans. Viewing your charging history To view your charging history, click on the History tab located at the top of the page. This brings you to your account history page. Here you can view all your previous charging sessions. Information displayed on this page includes: electricity used, duration of the charge session, and credits paid (if applicable).
Viewing available charge stations To view available charge stations, click on the Get Connected tab located at the top of the page. This opens a page with a map of available charge locations. There is an address search bar above the map to make locating charge stations easy. To the right of the map is a listing of charge station locations. If a location has more than one charge station, clicking the green + symbol will expand a list of charge stations at each location. To the left of each charge station is a green, blue, or grey colored dot. A green dot indicates the charge station is open, a blue dot indicates the charge station is in-use, and a grey dot indicates the charge station is undergoing service. Logging out of your account To log out of your account, click on the green Logout button located on the top right corner of the page.
