Analyst 1.6.2 Patch for Peak Hopping Issue The Analyst 1.6.2 Patch for Peak Hopping Issue addresses the following issue: the Peak Hopping scan mode might produce results with masses that are shifted or of a lower intensity than expected. The results are method-dependent and persistent, which means that a method that results in either shifted peaks or lower-than-expected intensities will always produce this result. A new mass spectrometer firmware file (MIL3003) has been released to resolve this issue. This application file will supersede the currently shipping MIL3002 version. The solution is limited to scans using Peak Hopping. No existing methods will be affected, and any results obtained for non-peak Hopping scans remain unchanged.
