T enable Passwrd Security, lg-in t the Administratr Menu, select Add/Remve Administratrs and create at least ne Administratr Passwrd. Passwrd Security is nw enabled and multiple passwrds may be created fr Quick Picks, General Users, Supervisrs and ther Administratrs. Additinal passwrds may be added and/r remved fr any peratinal level at anytime by the apprpriate authrity. In this case, when changing the Default Message, the peratr will be given a warning and the chice f setting the newly selected Message as the Default Message r as the Override Message. If the newly selected Message is set as the Override Message it will nt update r change the current Default Message, will take pririty ver all ther Schedules and Events and will be displayed n the Sign Panel at all times until changed r cleared. If the newly selected Message is set as the Default Message, the system will functin nrmally allwing all Schedules, Events (and the current Override Message) t take pririty. T edit a Message frm the Message Library, tuch the desired Message and when it is displayed in blue in the Preview Screen (right) tuch the Edit Message (Pencil-Scissrs-Glue) buttn t activate the Message Creatin & Editing Screen (see Message Creatin & Editing Screen). Delete Message (Black X) Remves the selected Message frm the Message Library. T delete a Message frm the Message Library, tuch the desired Message and when it is displayed in blue in the Preview Screen (right) tuch the Delete Message (Black X) buttn and fllw n-screen instructins. Nte: The Default Message and Messages assigned t Current Quick Picks may nt be deleted. T delete a Message frm the Message Library ensure that it is nt assigned as the Default Message r t Current Quick Picks. User Menu Returns peratr t the User Menu. Message Creatin & Editing Screen: General Ntes: - The Active Page in a Message during Message creatin & editing is utlined in red. T edit an existing Page, tuch the Page nce t make it the Active Page (utlined in red). Tuch the Active Page a secnd time t edit the Page cntents. T place the cursr in a Text Page fr editing, tuch the desired Harness the Pwer f the Sun 4

T change the Page Display Time fr the Active Page, tuch the Page Display Time windw (secnds) nce and type in desired display time [Nte: tw (2) secnds is prvided autmatically as the default display time fr all newly added Pages]. T remve a Page frm a Message, tuch the Page t make it the Active Page and then tuch the Delete (Trash Can) buttn t remve the Page frm the Message. New Pages added t a Message will always be added t the right f the current Active Page. When all editing is cmpleted tuch the Finished (Green & Yellw Smile Face) buttn t name and save the Message (naming is nt required fr Message editing as the Message already had a name prir t editing). T exit withut saving any changes tuch the Cancel (Red w/black X) buttn. - T add a Text Page t a Message, tuch the Create Text Page ( Te][ ) buttn. Select desired fnt (an autmatic sizing fnt labeled Adaptive is prvided as the default fnt). Select the desired keybard. (Nte: availability f fnts and keybard activatin is dependent upn current cntrller fnt selectin - see Change Fnt Set in Administratr Menu). Type desired text. T select specific lines within a Page fr text creatin/editing (such as in a 3-Line Nrmal fnt) tuch desired line n the Active Text Page t place cursr as desired. T change the display time f the Active Text Page tuch the display time windw and type in desired display time. - T add a Graphic Image Page t a Message tuch the Create Graphic Image Page (Mna Lisa Picture) buttn and create a Graphic Image as desired by using the tls prvided. When finished tuch the Finished buttn. T change the display time f the Active Graphic Image Page tuch the display time windw and type in desired display time. - T add a Dynamic Data Surce (e.g. radar, time, date, etc.) Page, tuch the Create Dynamic Data Surce Page (Thermmeter & Time) buttn and create the Dynamic Data Surce Page by using the tls prvided. When finished tuch the OK buttn. T change the display time f the Active Dynamic Data Surce Page tuch the display time windw and type in desired display time. - T add a Page frm the Master Library, tuch the Insert Page frm Master Library (Bks) buttn. Select the desired Page fr insertin frm the menu prvided, and then tuch the OK buttn. T change the display time f the Active Page tuch the display time windw and type in desired display time. - T add a Page by cpying an existing Page frm within the Message simply select the Page t be cpied and tuch the Cpy buttn (Tw Sheets f Harness the Pwer f the Sun 5

Paper) a cpy f the currently selected Page will be inserted int the Message just t the right f the selected Page. The newly cpied Page may nw be edited and/r mved abut within the Message just like any ther Page. - T mve Pages left r right within a Message simply select the Page t be mved and use the Mve Left (Left Arrw) r Mve Right (Right Arrw) buttns t mve the Page left r right ne space at a time. Menu Selectins: Create Text Page ( Te][ ) Inserts a new Text Page in a Message Keybard standard keybard input multiple keybards are available and may be selected at anytime by use f the keybard buttn at lwer right nte keybard activatin is dependent upn current cntrller language setting see Set Cntrller Fnts in Administratr Menu. Display Time (Secnds) Page Display Time within Message tuch in windw t edit display time (2 secnds is prvided as the default display time fr all newly added Pages).
