Online Registration Currently Enrolled Student Manual This is a page by page Online Registration manual. You can print it or refer back to it if you have problems during registration. You will need to allow 20-30 minutes to complete the process. If you have to stop before you finish, you can click Save and Continue and return later. This process should be done by the PRIMARY parent/guardian in the PRIMARY household of the student being registered. Instructions to Turn OFF Pop Up Blockers in various browsers needed for registration Internet Explorer: To Turn Pop Up Blocker Off 1. From the Menu bar at top of screen, choose TOOLS 2. Next choose INTERNET OPTIONS 3. On the Privacy Tab, under Pop Up Blocker, select or clear the TURN OFF POP-UP BLOCKER check box and select OK Mozilla Firefox: To Turn Pop Up Blocker Off 1. Click the Menu button at the top - looks like this 2. Choose OPTIONS PREFERENCES 3. Select the CONTENT PANEL 4. Uncheck the box next to BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS to disable all blockers Chrome: To Turn Pop Up Blocker Off 1. In chrome menu bar at top, click MORE 2. Click SETTINGS 3. Click SHOW ADVANCED SETTINGS at the bottom 4. Under PRIVACY tab, choose CONTENT SETTINGS 5. Scroll down to POP-UPS and check ALLOW ALL SITES TO SHOW POP-UPS Completion of this registration is not the completion of actual enrollment. The Henderson County School(HCS) staff will review the registration information provided for the student, notify parent/guardian by email if there are any issues with the registration that must be corrected before enrollment can be approved, and when actual enrollment has been approved. Please allow at least 3 weeks for the process to complete. If you need additional help, please call 270-831-8759 or email OLR@HENDERSON.KYSCHOOLS.US and a staff member will get back to you as soon as possible. Remember to include your name, student name and details when describing the problem.

1. Log on to the secure Internet address for Infinite Campus Parent Portal by clicking the CURRENTLY ENROLLED STUDENT REGISTRATION LINK on the registration web page or the Infinite Campus Parent Portal link within the Quick Links section on any HCS page. 2. After logging into Parent Portal, click ONLINE REGISTRATION option in the left index column 3. Next: Screen 1: Choose the appropriate Registration Year from the dropdown menu. Click Begin Registration

Screen 2: Make note of the Application Number in the upper right corner for later use. Screen 3: Welcome screen with important information about the process. Please read before beginning.

Screen 4: Enter primary parent/guardian s phone number to be used by HCS for contact. Screen 5: Enter primary parent/guardian s home address.

Screen 6: If primary parent/guardian has a different mailing address from home address, indicate here. Screen 7: Enter parent/guardian information in this section.

Screen 8: Enter additional parent/guardian full legal name. If there is no middle name, enter NONE. Screen 9: Enter additional parent/guardian home address. If there is no middle name, enter NONE.

Screen 10: Enter parent/guardian home, cell, and work phone, email to be used by HCS for contact. Screen 11: Enter information about parent/guardian agriculture work status over the past 3 years.

Screen 12: Review page for parent/guardian information that has been entered. If changes need to be made, you can do that here. Screen 13: This section is for entering Emergency Contact people who have the approval of the parent/guardian for HCS to contact, if the parent/guardian cannot be reached, in the event of an emergency or to pick up the student. At least 2 emergency contact people are required by HCS.

Screen 14: Emergency Contact should not include parent/guardian names already listed. Screen 15: Enter FULL LEGAL name, birth date, and gender of the person to be used as an emergency contact for the student

Screen 16: Enter emergency contact s phone numbers and email address to be used by HCS. Screen 17: Enter emergency contact s home address.

Screen 18: Review page for emergency contact person information that has been entered. If changes need to be made, you can do that here. To add more emergency contact people, click ADD NEW EMERGENCY CONTACT icon and you will be taken through the same process for the next person. Screen 19: This section is to enter all children in the primary home of the student that are NOT enrolled in any Henderson County Schools. This can be those to under age 5, home schooled or in private school.

Screen 20: Enter child s full legal name, birth date and gender. If there is no middle name, enter NONE. Screen 21: Confirming an unenrolled child has been entered

Screen 22: Review information on unenrolled children for the primary home and make changes, if needed. Screen 23: This section is to enter information on student to be enrolled in a Henderson County School

Screen 24: Enter student s FULL LEGAL name, birth date, Grade to be enrolled in, school, new students requirements, etc. If there is no middle name, enter NONE. Screen 25: If this student will be at the Thelma B Johnson preschool, answer yes in the box.

Screen 26: If student will be in preschool, enter the needed information as you answer the questions. Screen 27: If this student will be in kindergarten, answer yes and provide needed information.

Screen 28: If the student will be in kindergarten, enter needed information as you answer the questions. Screen 29: Enter information concerning the student s housing situation.

Screen 30: Enter information concerning the school services this student has or had. Screen 31: Enter information concerning the language(s) spoken in the student s family.

Screen 32: Enter information concerning the last school this student attended. Also needed is the status on suspension or expulsion from any school. Screen 33: Enter the relationship to the student of the parent/guardian listed in that section.

Screen 34: Enter the relationship to the student of the child listed in Other Household section. Screen 35: Enter the relationship to the student of the people listed as Emergency Contacts. Also needed is the contact sequence of all those listed. The person listed as 1, will be contacted first in an emergency, etc.

Screen 36: Enter medical information for the student, include ONLY life-threatening conditions in this section. There are 3 sections to be completed about the health and/or medications of the student. Screen 37: Enter all medical conditions the student has.

Screen 38: Enter all medications the student takes at home or school. NOTE: Parents MUST bring any medications to the school, students are NOT permitted to. There is also a form at the school that parents must sign concerning giving medication at school. Screen 39: Please read the information about the CEP program and Free or Reduced Meals. These forms cannot be done until after JULY 1, due to federal regulations. The CEP program benefits ALL students. ALL parents are urged to fill out the needed information at that time. If child will be applying for Free or Reduced meals at school, answer yes. Check your email in July for more information on both programs.

Screen 40: Enter information needed by the school bus department. There are 2 document links here, that you must read. The Bus Emergency card must be filled out. Screen 41: This section requires parent/guardian reading HCS code of conduct and technology use documents, giving permission or not for student to go on field trips and allowing the student s school activities to be used on social media. You must sign at the bottom to acknowledge you have done so.

Screen 42: Parent/Guardian must read the policies in the code of conduct and sign to acknowledge you have done so. Screen 43: Parent/Guardian must read the FERPA and ESSA Acts and acknowledge you have done so.

Screen 44: The student s registration information can be reviewed and changed here. To enter additional students, click ADD NEW STUDENT. Screen 45: The student s registration information can be reviewed and changed here. Once registration has been submitted, parent/guardian cannot make any changes to this information, only the school staff can.

Screen 46: Before clicking the SUBMIT button, be sure all the entered information is correct. You can click the APPLICATION SUMMARY link below to see or print the registration information you entered. You will not be able to make any changes after submitting, only HCS staff will be able to. You can click back through any section to change information before submitting. Screen 47: If you are sure you are ready to submit the registration, click CONFIRM.

Screen 48: Registration application has been submitted. You can click the APPLICATION SUMMARY link to see or print the information you entered. HCS will send a series of emails to you keeping you updated on the registration status, any issues that need corrected and finally the actual school enrollment. Application Summary - You can view, save or print this report for your records.
