1 Ballard County Public Schools How to access and navigate the Infinite Campus Portal This presentation is a demonstration of the Infinite Campus Portal. For a detailed description of each area of the portal, please go to the Campus Portal for Parents User Guide document located on the PARENTS page of the Ballard County Schools website.

2 Click on Parent Login

3 Enter Portal Activation Key or Log On Log in on this screen if you already have a username and password. If you have not yet set up your portal account, select click here and follow the process to create your username and password with your Campus Portal Activation Key. If you do not have your Portal Activation Key, send an to: jennifer.robinson@ballard.kyschools.us to request your letter with this information. *Only those individuals designated as student(s ) legal guardian will receive access to the Campus Portal. OR

4 Once logged in, you will be presented with this screen:

5 If you have multiple children enrolled in the system, you will need to click on SELECT A STUDENT to view their individual information.

6 This snapshot shows the student s Calendar. The Calendar displays all assignments and attendance events for that student only. The calendar defaults to the current month, but users are able to view previous months and future months by clicking the black arrow buttons on either side of the month and year. Each area available for viewing is listed under the student s name.

7 The Schedule link will list the student s classes in each period and term, along with the teacher s name and location of the class. When a grade book icon appears next to the course number and name, you can click on the course name to open the student s Grade Book for that course and see assignments and grades. When an envelope icon appears next to the teacher s name, you can click on the teacher s name to generate an to that teacher.

8 The Attendance link allows parents to track student attendance.

9 The Grades link displays recent assignments that have been graded followed by a list of term grades by course. Recently Graded Assignments works like a news feed, where assignments scored and saved by the teacher are instantly viewable in the Portal. Grades by Course displays a summary of course grades for each grading task. Clicking on the course Name displays the same view when selecting the Grade Book icon from the Schedule tab.

11 Contact Preferences It is important for schools to have up-to-date contact information. Users should verify that contact information is correct and then indicate which types of messages should be directed to each address. Has your address changed? Verify it here so Ballard County Schools will have your up-to-date address.

12 Log Off/SIGN OUT *To end your portal session, click on the Sign Out button located in the top right corner of the screen.

13 Go mobile. The Portal also is available as an app for Android, iphone, ipad and ipad Touch devices. All you need is an active Portal account (this means you have created your username and password on the Portal) and one of the devices listed above to get connected. The Campus Mobile Portal can be downloaded through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore.
