Sky Q launched its brand page in November 2015. As part of this experience they wanted customers to register for updates about the release of the the product early the following year. I was responsible for designing this journey, using the brand assets across a responsive experience. The site had large volumes of visitors, significantly higher than was expected and was a huge success for Sky.
cloudbuy is an e-procurement company specialising in spend analysis and company formation. It provides integration, purchase-to-pay and spend analysis to a number of British public sector organisations I joined the company, formally known as @UK in early 2013. Toward the end of 2014 the company negotiated a deal with Visa and decided to make the step into the global marketplace and needed a brand that reflected that. Over the end of 2014 I created the logo and brand guidelines, helped the company create new stationary and marketing materials, and designed and built their website, whilst helping them manage their content and even working with a photographer to direct a product photo-shoot of their software. The deadline for this was very tight and a huge volume of work needed to be done. You can view the style guide here. You can also view the website at www.cloudbuy.com
unibuy is where more than 600 UK colleges and universities come to do their buying. They use unibuy to find the right suppliers, ask for the best quotes and buy online. This project was a full re-brand. I provided logo design and a style guide as well as working with copywriters to create artwork that represented the content. I also created stationary templates for the brand as well as designing and building the fully responsive website. The site uses parallax scrolling to create an engaging banner across the header of the home page. The style guide is avalabe to view here. You can also vist the site at: www.unibuy.com
Coding International implements standardized descriptions of products and services. This company has twenty years of experience gained through providing these services to customers in all sectors. Coding International needed a complete redesign. They where happy with their content but their current site was a simple 980px template website that had changed little in the last 5 years. Creative freedom was given by the client. I used the latest web techniques to build them a fully responsive website containing a left hand mobile menu. I also used Adobe Animate Edge to create light intuitive animations throughout the home page to bring the content to life. With a little Java Script editing (and some help form a web developer) we were able to trigger these animations from the scroll position. The site was built inside a CMS and I made sure that content was easily editable and class commands were clear. This site is currently scheduled for publication at the end of December 2015 but a preview is available for demonstration on request.
This was a design proposal created to demonstrate our design solution for a tender. The key principle of the re-design was to make more use of their visual resources. The Barbican wanted to make their website more interctive and for users to engage with the artist on exhibition. I created a spacious design in which the main background for each page and section was based on a flexible responsive slide show. This combined with the CMS allowed them to easily upload, manage and advertise what s happening in the Barbican. The designs also included event booking forms for the three venues. An ecommerce shopping area was also designed to allow the barbican shop to advertise and sell books for current exhibitions and artists online. The full proposal is avalable for download here.
