MAIN FUNCTIONS TRANSFER & BACKUP PHOTOS Transfer Photos section helps you to move photos and videos from your iphone to ibridge and from ibridge to Camera Roll. When you select From iphone/ipad to ibridge, you will see Camera Rolll folder that is opened by default. It includes all your photos stored on iphone (including those from custom albums). Here you can: - select a few photos by pressing Select in the upper right corner and tap on photos you want to transfer - select all photos made on a certain date by pressing upper right corner and Select Select in the above the date photos are grouped under. - select all photos in this album by pressing corner > Select all Select in the upper right in the upper left corner Once you selected the photos, tap on Copy to ibridge at the bottom of the screen and it will take you to the progress screen. When the transfer is finished, tap on DONE at the bottom of the screen. In Albums tab you will find all the albums you have on your ios device. Here you can Select Album and transfer the entire album to ibridge. The transferred album will be saved to Leef Photos folder > [Your album name]. You can find it by going to Manage Files from the main menu. When you select From ibridge to iphone/ipad, you will see all the photos stored on ibridge in this one folder. Here you can select a few photos by pressing Select in the upper right corner and tap on photos you want to transfer. Once you selected the photos, tap on Copy to iphone/ipad at the bottom of the screen and it will take you to the progress screen. When the transfer is finished, tap on DONE at the bottom of the screen. 3
PHOTOS & CONTACTS AUTOBACKUP To access autobackup settings please tap on the backup icon in the main menu. Here you can see 2 sections: Photos and Contacts. The options are: Turn autobackup on/off (Every time I plug in ibridge, Every 7 days, Every month, Every 90 days, Never) Change the name of destination folder for autobackup on this ios device. (This is useful if you use ibridge on several ios devices and want to have your photos organized to separate folders by device) See the date your last backup was made (Last Backup) Initiate the backup of all your photos now. The same options are used for Contacts + one more - Restore contacts. TRANSFER MUSIC TO ibridge 3 As you might already know, Apple has a very strict DRM policy. As a result, Music and Videos apps on ios do not support exporting data to another apps or external devices. However, there is a way out. You can transfer your music library from your computer to ibridge and play it directly from the ibridge 3 app. Here is how to do this: From PC/Mac to ibridge The simplest way to transfer your music library to ibridge is to use your PC or Mac. Launch itunes on PC/Mac, plug in ibridge, choose music you want to transfer and drag and drop it to ibridge. Note: You may also create folders on ibridge to organize your content. When plugged in a PC, it works like an ordinary flash drive. From ibridge to ios Device If you want to move/copy music files from ibridge to ios Device s internal memory, go to ibridge 3 app, plug in ibridge, select "Select" choose Manage Files => select the file you want to move or copy (press in the upper right corner) and press the copy icon at the bottom of the screen. Now Local directory and create a new folder is necessary. This will save your music to the ibridge 3 app storage and you will be able to access it even when ibridge is unplugged. 4
TRANSFER MOVIES TO ibridge 3 There is one thing you need to know before we proceed. If you have purchased your movies from itunes, Amazon or other resource with DRM protected content, our app will not be able to play those movies. Yes, you can thank Apple for that. So what we can offer? If you have non-drm movies/videos stored in the Videos app on your ios device, you may use your computer to save those movies and copy them to ibridge to stream them directly from our app. LEEF CAMERA Leef Camera allows you to make photos and videos directly to ibridge so you never miss life's most memorable moments. Photos are made using native iphone default camera settings Videos made by our app have the resolution of 740p and 30fps If you have any problems with shooting videos or taking photos, please check privacy settings of your ios device and make sure ibridge 3 app is allowed to access Camera and Microphone. iphone Settings> Privacy> Photos (ibridge 3 app enabled). iphone Settings> Privacy> Camera (ibridge 3 app enabled). iphone Settings> Privacy> Microphone (ibridge 3 app enabled). iphone Settings> General> Restrictions (ibridge 3 app is not blocked for photos and videos). 5
MEDIA The media section was designed to gather and group all your files by type. You can find 3 tabs at the bottom of the screen: Photos, Videos and Music. Let's see what each of those sections has to offer. Photos At the top of the screen you have 3 options: All Photos - this gathers all photos stored on your ibridge and in the local storage of the app ibridge Photos Local Photos - will show only photos stored on ibridge - will show only photos stored in the ibridge 3 app local storage. Please note that all the files stored in ibridge 3 app will take up the internal memory of your ios device. Here you can select a few photos and copy them to: Local storage of the app, ibridge, icloud. Once you select the directory to copy your files to, you can create a new folder by choosing the folder icon in the upper right corner. Videos The same as above, at the top of the screen you have 3 options: All Videos, ibridge Videos and Local Videos Here your videos are grouped by: All items Movies - this gathers all your videos stored on your ibridge and in the local storage of the app - will show video files that our app recognized as movies using the file metadata TV shows - will show video files that our app recognized as tv shows using the file metadata Similar to photos, you can select a few videos and copy them to: Local storage of the app, ibridge, icloud. Once you select the directory to copy your files to, you can create a new folder by choosing the folder icon in the upper right corner. Music Music section was designed to help you enjoy your music on the go. It groups your music by: Songs, Artists, Albums and Playlists. And once again, at the top of the screen you have 3 options: Local Music. In order to create Playlist, go to Playlists All Music >, ibridge Music Add playlist name. If you want to add songs to playlist, go to Songs, Artists, Albums and tap on of a song or an album > Add to playlist and and type in the 3 dots in front and select the playlist. You may also create a playlist after you have selected a song/album. Once the song starts playing, you will see such options as: Share (the box with and arrow), shuffle, repeat song and 3 dots with: Add to playlist, Show in Album and Delete. 6
MANAGE FILES Manage Files is a file manager we have developed to help you organize your content on ibridge 3. At the top of the screen you can see the storage used on your device. Just below the "used storage bar" there are a few options: Group files by: Name, Type, Date and Size Change layout to grid or list view Create a new folder At the bottom of the screen you can choose the directory to show your files: ibridge Storage, Local (App storage) and Cloud storage. Here you can select files/folders and copy or move them to another directory. In order to copy a file please tap on the copy icon at the bottom of the screen; and to move files tap on Move to... 3 dots > in the lower right corner. If you want to delete a file, please select it and tap on 3 dots In order to rename or duplicate file, select the file and tap on > Delete 3 dots >. Duplicate/Rename. LEEFLOCK PROTECT LeefLock is a unique security solution designed to protect your files if the device is stolen or lost. When you activate LeefLock, the app will ask you to create a passcode. This passcode will be saved to your Apple icloud Keychain and if you plug in your ibridge into your devices with the same Apple ID, the app will not ask for passcode every time you launch our app. However, if you use another ios device, the app will ask you to enter your passcode before you can use the device. How to activate LeefLock? 1. Plug in your ibridge into ios devicer 2. Select "Allow" when the app asks to communicate with ibridge 3. At the top left, press the lock icon, enable LeefLock 4. Follow the instructions and create your passcode 7
5. Once the passcode is set, you can activate a Touch ID for ibridge 3 app to protect the app with your fingerprint as well. You can also enter your contact information (name, email, phone) in case the device is lost so that the person who found would know how to return it to you. 6. That is it, now your files are protected! Please note that if the LeefLock is on, you will not be able to access/edit your files on PC/Mac. When you plug in the locked device to a computer, you will see just a html file (Help) - a link to a page with instructions on LeefLock and your contact information. In order to use the device on a computer, please deactivate the LeefLock in ibridge 3 app using the lock icon in the upper left corner. 8
FAQ S WHAT IS LOCAL STORAGE? Local storage in ibridge 3 app takes up iphone internal memory and can be used to get access to your files once ibridge 3 is unplugged. By default, Local storage is empty, but if you want to store any files there, you can use Manage Files section in the app to copy/move any data there. Please keep in mind that Local storage does not show any files stored in other ios apps - it can only have access to the files you transferred via ibridge 3 app. WHAT FILES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH ibridge 3? Video:.mp4,.m4v,.mpv,.mov,.mpg,.mkv,.wmv,.flv,.3gp,.gif,.avi Audio:.wav,.aac,.aif,.aiff,.caf,.m4a,.mp3 NOTE: Apple does not allow itunes DRM audio & video files to be played on external apps! Images:.jpg,.tiff,.gif Documents: doc and.docx (Microsoft Word);.htm and.html (web pages);.key (Keynote);.numbers (Numbers);.pages (Pages);.pdf (Preview and Adobe Acrobat);.ppt and.pptx (Microsoft PowerPoint);.txt (text);.rtf (rich text format);.vcf (contact information);.xls and.xlsx (Microsoft Excel);.ics WHAT FILE SYSTEMS ARE SUPPORTED? We recommend to have ibridge formatted in FAT32 (Ms-DOS). exfat is also supported if you want to bypass the 4GB limitation, however, the overall performance might not be as smooth as in FAT32. CLOUD INTEGRATION Our app supports the following cloud services: Dropbox, Google Drive, Box and icloud. In order to add a cloud service go to Manage Files > Cloud > Change and log into your cloud services. It's worth mentioning that you will be able to access and see all files from your cloud only in Google Drive, Dropbox and Box. 9
icloud is designed so that our app cannot see or access the files that were transferred not through ibridge app. This means that you can still create folders and transfer files to icloud using ibridge 3 app, but you will have access only to the files transferred via our app. Go to icloud website and choose icloud Drive. You will see a folder there called ibridge 3 with all the files you transferred via ibridge 3 app. WHY ARE MY PHOTOS OUT OF ORDER? When you transfer your photos to ibridge, the date created is modified to the date the photo was traceried. It is not something we have control over unfortunately. In order to view photos on your computer in a correct order, you can sort them by date modified (that is in fact date the photo was created HOW TO PUT IBRIDGE 3 INTO THE RUBBER CASE? 10
