CEBU PACIFIC FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Application and selection 1. What is the Cebu Pacific cadet pilot program? The Cebu Pacific (CEB) cadet pilot program is a 56-week program that recruits candidates to train to become licenced commercial pilots and join the corps of aviators at Cebu Pacific, flying domestic and international routes. Successful candidates will be sent for study and training at (FTA), in Australia. The program is a study-now-pay-later scheme where CEB shoulders the program cost and successful candidates repay CEB in instalments once they are employed by the airline. Students who successfully complete all the phases of the program will gain the following nationally recognised qualifications in the Australian Qualifications Framework: AVI50215 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence Aeroplane) AVI50415 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) AVI60216 Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command). 2. How much do applicants pay to get into the program? There is no fee to get into the program. Tuition and costs related to the CEB pilot cadet program will be financed by Cebu Pacific initially, and then paid by the pilot cadets upon employment with the airline via monthly salary deduction, at no interest whatsoever. Applicants will only need to pay a testing and screening fee of AU$425.00, but only after passing the online prescreening. 3. Are there fees for the screening and testing? If so, how much? Yes. Applicants will need to pay AU$425.00 or its equivalent in Philippine Peso after they pass the pre-screening. This covers core skills and pilot aptitude tests. 4. Who are qualified to apply? All Filipino citizens who hold a college/university degree and are proficient in English are qualified to apply. CEB will apply equal opportunity to all applicants. 5. Who selects the candidates?
