Introduction This document contains a list of the log messages generated by the Insight Management WBEM Providers for Server 008 and Server 0. Each alert indication from the \root\q namespace conforming to the query SELECT * FROM _AlertIndication will be logged to the System Log. Each threshold indication from the \root\q namespace conforming to the query SELECT * FROM _ThresholdIndication will also be logged to the System Log. Figure Indication class diagram 5

Related Documents The purpose of this document is to show all indications and the associated event log messages that would be logged to the System Log. The document titled Insight Management WBEM Providers Microsoft Data sheet available at http://www.hp.com/go/wbem/docs documents all indications and lists the properties delivered by each indication. 6 Related Documents

4 Indication to log Mapping The CIM_AlertIndication.ID and CIM_AlertIndication.ProviderName properties are unique for each type of alert indication within the system. The ID and ProviderName properties are used to map to specific messages logged to the System Log. The same applies for the CIM_ThresholdIndication.ID and CIM_ThresholdIndication.ProviderName. 7
