In reading this Quick Start Guide an understanding for the functionality and features of the Omega software will be achieved. My First Digital Signage In this Quick Start Guide we will lead you through logging in, creating a device, creating a project, scheduling the project, and installing the Omega Player on to a device. You must login as a power user for this Quick Start Guide to be completed. Users can follow this guide though during the device creation stage of this guide user s may not have the authority to create a device. 1. Logging In Step 1: Enter your Email and Password in to the corresponding fields. Step 2: Click Login. 2. Creating a Device Step 3: Select Display Device from the navigation bar. Step 4: Click Add Device from the menu on the left. Step 5: Fill in device information in designated fields to right of menu. Step 6: Click Save. 3. New Project Step 7: Click Project from the navigation bar. Step 8: Click New. Step 9: Select the Aspect Ratio that best fits your preferences. Step 10: From the assorted default layouts, double click a layout that best fits your needs. (Note: Regions can be added, deleted, and resized after a project is created) Project New Select Aspect Ratio Double Click to select your preferred Template Page 4
4. Save Project and Send to Device Step 11: Click the Save As button located in the tool bar. (Note: Before saving, Drag & Drop content from the right Content Manager in to a region.) Step 12: Enter the name of the project in the Name Field. Step 13: Click Save and wait for the confirmation message. Step 14: Click To Device. 5. Scheduling Step 16: Find the project you would like to add in the Recent or Search tabs. Step 17: Drag the project in to the area of the matrix in which you want to place the project in respect to Date and Time. Step 18: Drag the Resize Handles of the project to best fit your time preferences. Step 19: Click the Save button and wait for the confirmation message.!tip: To remove a project from the schedule simply click the (X) located at the upper right corner of the project. 6. Install Omega Player Software Step 20: Download the Omega Player from the Start Page seen below to any Remote Device (PC) that you wish to broadcast to. Link to Start Page in lower right corner of Omega Web Based Content Management Software Start Page Omega Player Download Step 21: Double Click the Omega Player Installer which was downloaded and follow the steps seen here. Step 22: Enter the same Login Information that you used to login in to the Omega web based software. Step 23: Select the Device which was created in this quick start guide and click Register while confirming the message that appears after clicking register. Step 24: Click Play and you are now broadcasting your Digital Signage to the world. Tip!: To toggle from Full Screen and Desktop view click the screen with the Mouse, then Press ESC. Enter your Email and Password then click login. Select the Device you wish to Register. Click Play to start broadcasting your Digital Signage to the world.
