Typical Installatin Befre installing QSM, make sure the is installed crrectly. T install QSM, click [Install] buttn n the "Mnitr" tab f the Intelligent Deplyment Mnitring Agent, then select the cmpnents sub-directry f the upgrade package, and click [OK] buttn t launch the installatin wizard. Fr detailed installatin instructins, please refer t deplyment guides. Upgrade Installatin Please fllw these instructins fr upgrading the : 1. Back up the database n the Envirnment tab in Deplyment Mnitring Agent. 2. Stp the system in the Deplyment Mnitring Agent. 3. Click [Install] buttn in the "Mnitr" tab f the Deplyment Mnitring Agent. 4. Select the windws/install/cmpnents subdirectry f the upgrade package, and click [OK] buttn. 5. After the installatin finishes, the Deplyment Mnitring Agent will detect the cmpnents that need t be upgraded. Click [OK] buttn t start upgrading the cmpnents. 6. If this is a Distributed deplyment, upgrade all cmpnents deplyed n all slave servers separately. 7. After update, start all prcesses n the Deplyment Mnitring Agent windw. Fr mre infrmatin abut installatin and upgrade prcedures, see Getting Started Guide and deplyment guides. Remving QSM Yu can remve QSM cmpnent thrugh the intelligent deplyment mnitring agent. T d this, fllw these steps: 1. In the Intelligent Deplyment Mnitring Agent windw, select "Stp " n the "Mnitr" tab t stp all prcesses f.
2. On the "Deply" tab, right-click the QSM cmpnent, and select "Uninstall the Cmpnent" frm the shrtcut menu. 3. A dialg bx appears, indicating that the cmpnent was successfully remved. Click "OK". Knwn Prblems After a QS applicatin f the desktp editin is added, multiple icns exist fr the applicatin.
