How to make a presentation using Prezi Introduction Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software and storytelling tool for presenting ideas on a virtual canvas. The whole presentation is arranged on one big canvas so ideas can be shown in context. With this software you can zoom into the details and set the order you want to follow. Prezi was established in 2009 by co-founders Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy and Peter Arvai. It is available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, German, French and Hungarian. In this instruction you can find the steps to set up Prezi and create a presentation. Ingredients a laptop or a pc Windows, Mac, ipad internet connection via wifi or mobile network Warnings You need to have a working internet connection. 1. Procedure 1.1 How to set up a Prezi Account: 1. Go to prezi.com. 2. Click on Sign Up Now. 3. Scroll down and where it says Students & Teachers and select Educational Plans. 4. Go to the Edu Enjoy and click on Choose Plan. 5. Type your email address in the Student/Teacher Verification. * You will need an email address to set up an account. If you do not have one, please see your teacher for account information. 6. Click on Verify. 7. You will have to confirm your email address by clicking on the link you got. 2
8. Open your email account and check your mails. 9. Click on the button Verify Now which is shown in the email. 10. Back on prezi.com, create your free Edu Enjoy Account. 11. Fill out the missing informations. 12. Click on Get Started. 13. Now you can create your Prezi with a step-by-step guide. Just click on Start Creating. 1.2 How to use Prezi : 1. When the Prezi is started, go to Start Interactive Tutorial. In three minutes you will create your first presentation. 2. You start with the title of your presentation by clicking in the text and start typing the title of it. 3
3. The second step is Click on the thumbnail to zoom on your second path step. 4. Now you can edit the title of your first topic by typing it in. 5. In step 3 you can create the second thumbnail. Click on the blue button to do it. 6. To create a good looking presentation you can insert pictures or images from the internet or your computer. Push the Insert - button. 7. To insert a image you can either select files from your computer, search images on the web or choose a recommended images, which are already shown on the side. 4
8. As you decided on a image or file, you can drag and resize the image on your presentation and also add special effects or crop the image for example. 9. As you created your first small presentation, you click on the home button to see the overview of your presentation. 10. To add a frame to your presentation click on the plus. 11. Place the frame on the presentation. You can change the type by clicking on the button. 5
12. To zoom in the fourth path step, just click on the thumbnail which says step 4. 13. To add more text, click in the circle and type your text in it. 14. Follow the next instructions to see your presentation. 15. As you see the Present - button, click on it and your presentation will open. 16. When your presentation is ready, use the arrows to navigate your presentation. 6

Click on your profil and go to download Prezi for Mac. Click on the Download - button. 2. You need to save the file on your Mac. Click on Saving File. 3.
