REGISTRATION If you are not already registered, visit your nearest branch and complete an I&M Mobile registration form This form can also be downloaded from our website on: https://www.imbank.com/personal/mobile-banking/ GETTING STARTED A. For smartphone users, you can start using the I&M Mobile App by: Enabling the internet on your smartphone and downloading the I&M App from your respective app store. Once registered, you will receive an activation key and PIN via SMS from the bank. Launch I&M App and select I&M Mobile and enter activation key once. Once successfully registered, re-start the App and enter the PIN as given on SMS. You can change this PIN under My Profile menu once logged in. 1. The Main Menu The main menu after logging in is displayed as below: 2. My Accounts For banking transactions, select My Account menu, enter the login PIN and the page below will be displayed allow you to select a service. 3. 4. Pay Utilities This service enables you to pay utility bills directly from your I&M Bank account. 5. Mobile Money This option currently allows you to transfer funds from your I&M Bank account to your M-PESA, MobiKash and Airtel Money. 6. B. For non smartphone users: Once registered, you will receive a 4-digit numeric PIN via SMS. Dial *458# and input the PIN then the system will prompt you to change PIN Once you have successfully changed the registration PIN, dial *458# to access full menu as below To enjoy any of the listed services, respond with a number corresponding to that service. e.g. reply with 3 for airtime top-up. ile Banking Brochure fin.indd 6
IMPORTANT NOTES Registration Transaction Limits Mobile Money Transfers Funds Transfer Utility Bills Service Requests Charges and Available Services Security and PIN Handling Terms and Conditions To enjoy I&M Mobile Banking, you must register by either ticking I&M Mobile option on the account opening form or completing an I&M Mobile application form. Subject to specific customer approvals, the following limits apply. Maximum number of transactions per day is 10 Maximum amount per transaction is KShs. 200,000 Cumulative amount per day is KShs. 1,000,000 Respective limits apply as set by Mobile Money Service providers i.e M-PESA, Airtel Money and MobiKash. Always check the prevailing limits. Funds transfer can be done to either a maintained beneficiary or directly entering the beneficiary account. It is the responsibility of the customer to confirm accuracy & correctness of the account. Though the transactions for utility bills are processed instantly, allow a maximum of 2 working days. Factor this in before your bills due date to avoid any inconvenience. Cheque book request: Cheque book to be collected from base branch within 7 working days after request Full statement request: Statement to be collected from base branch within 2 working days upon request E-statement registration: This is put into effect within 2 working days after request If need be, always confirm with the bank regarding the prevailing charges and available services from time to time.
