6 INTRODUCTION TO VCB-MOBILE VCB-Mobile is a smart phone-based banking service that supports customer transactions with the bank anytime and anywhere. The application is developed by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) in cooperation with Vietnam Payment Solution Joint Stock Company (VNPAY), compatible with ios and runs on all smart phones, tablets with 3F/Wifi/GPRS connection. 6 VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide

8 Conditions of using VCB-Mobile service To use VCB-Mobile service, you will need: A current account opened at Vietcombank. A smart phone/tablet running ios 7.0 or higher, with Internet connection (via GPRS/3G/Wifi). Mobile number used for registration of VCB-Mobile B@nking (which has been used for registration of VCB-SMS B@nking service). 9 Registration of using VCB-Mobile service Step 1: Visit the Transaction counter of Vietcombank and fill in the Registration form for using VCB-Mobile service (You will need to present your original ID card/passport). Step 2: After registration of the service, Vietcombank will send to you: A registration form with printed username. One (01) SMS including a link to download the application to your phone and password for activation. Instructions on application download and installation Download and install the application for operating systems Step 1: Open App Store on ios. Step 2: Search the Application by typing Vietcombank in the search box. Step 3: Tap the icon of the Application, select Install to install the application on your device.. 10 Notes: - You need to have an Apple ID (account for using services of Apple) to download the application. If you do not have this account, please register with Apple. - During installation & use, make sure your device is connected to the Internet via 3G, 3G+ (HSDPA) or Wifi. - The application is compatible with iphone/ipod Touch/iPad (ios 7.0 or higher). - The application s size is less than 10 MB. It is provided free of charge; however, the charge of downloading the application depends on the package you use (specified by your Internet service provider/mobile network operator). Download and install from the download link received via SMS Step 1: Visit the link for downloading the application from the message sent by VCB after you have registered for VCB-Mobile B@nking at the counter or shared by your friends; then tap Install to download the application to your device. Step 2: Open the downloaded file and install the application. After successfully installing the application, its logo is added to the home screen of your device VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide
11 Instruction on service activation After the application is installed on your device, you need to activate your account before use. Activate VCB-Mobile Confirmation code: is a series of 6 characters sent by the system via SMS to the phone number you have registered to use VCB-Mobile B@nking with VCB. New password/pin: is a series of characters set by customers to log in the application later. It is specified that the password/pin is a series of 8 to 20 characters with at least 1 alphabetic character and numeric characters which can include Vietnamese without diacritical marks, special characters, space and must not include blanks. Retype new password/pin: retype the same series as the password/ PIN above Open the application and enter the phone number registered with VCB on service registration and tap Continue. Enter the default password/pin sent via SMS, set a new password/ PIN, retype the new password/pin and tap Continue. After the information is entered accurately, the application will be activated on the device. Enter the OTP which has been sent to the registered phone number and tap Continue. 12 Log in the application The application will display the Login screen upon opening. 2 After successful login, the application displays the default screen in tab Finance. You can use all functions of the application. 1. To log in the application, enter your password and tap Login. 2. For customers who have activated fingerprint login: press the fingerprint icon and scan fingerprint. 12 VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide

15 Account/Card 3 To query, tap on the Account you want to view. The screen will display the account details. 2 In tab Finance, select function Account/Card. The application displays all of your Accounts in active status in VCB, including Current account, Non-term savings account, Savings account, Loan account and Credit card account. Tap one of the function icons of quick menu such as Transfer, Bill payment, Topup, the application will display a screen corresponding to the selected service. VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide 15
16 Query Account/Card 4 To query transaction history of an Account/Card, tap the button Transaction history. Then select the period you want to query (from to), and tap Search. Notes: To query a Current account: the maximum query period is 30 days from anytime. To query a Saving account: 10 latest transactions before the query time. Scroll the screen to request for next 10 transactions from the system until there are no more transactions to show. 18 Internal Transfer 2 Select an originator account. After that, enter transfer information including beneficiary account, amount, transfer content and tap the button Continue. Note: The originator account and the beneficiary account shall not be the same. You can tap the icon to select a beneficiary from the saved beneficiary contact list. Tap the button Continue. 4 In case of transaction authentication via SMS OTP: Enter the valid and accurate authentication code, tap the button Continue to complete the transaction. In case of transaction authentication by fingerprint, scan fingerprint to complete the transaction. The system displays the screen indicating the transaction has been made successfully. Tap Save beneficiary to save to the beneficiary list. Tap Conduct another transaction to make another transfer transaction (if any). Tap Home to return to the screen of tab Finance. 20 External transfer by account 2 Select an originator account. Enter information including originator account number, beneficiary name, select a beneficiary bank from the list, amount, and content and tap the button Continue. Note: Please use Vietnamese without diacritical marks for beneficiary name and content. You can tap the icon to select a beneficiary from the saved beneficiary contact list. 22 Quick transfer by card number 2 Select a sender card number, enter beneficiary card number, amount and content and tap the button Continue. 28 Topup 2 Select an originator account, enter the phone number for topup (or tap the icon to select from the device s address book. Select a card value and tap the button Continue. Note: To make a topup payment for the phone number you have used for registration of VCB-Mobile B@nking, you can leave the field Top-up phone number blank. 29 Topup The system displays the screen indicating the topup transaction has been made successfully. Tap Conduct another transaction to make another topup transaction (if any). Tap Home to return to the screen of tab Finance. Check the information. Tap the button Continue. In case of transaction authentication via SMS OTP: Enter the valid and accurate authentication code, tap the button Continue to complete the transaction. 30 Bill payment 3 Select an Originator account, Service provider, Enter customer code/phone number and tap the button Continue. Note: You can select from the list of bills saved by tapping Select from the list. 2 In tab Finance, select the function Bill payment. Select a payment service. 30 VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide
31 Bill payment 4 Check the information. Tap the button Continue. 5 In case of transaction authentication via SMS OTP: Enter the valid and accurate authentication code, tap the button Continue to complete the transaction. In case of transaction authentication by fingerprint, scan fingerprint to complete the transaction. 6 The system displays the screen indicating the bill has been paid successfully. Tap Save bill to save the bill to the bill list (not applicable to one-time payment bills). Tap Conduct another transaction to make another bill payment transaction (if any). The button Registration to to receive monthly notification of bill payment (applicable to bills not included in the bill list or included in the bill list but not registered to receive monthly notification of bill payment). 32 Delete recent bills Tap Yes, the application sends the request for deletion of a bill from a list and cancels registration of monthly notification of bill payment. Tap Cancel to return to the previous screen. In tab Finance, select the function Bill payment. On the screen Bill payment, in the bill list, the application displays the button Delete on the top right corner of the screen. Tap the button Delete, the application displays an icon for deletion corresponding to each saved bill and displays the button Cancel. Tap the icon on each bill, the application displays the notification as follows: Are you sure you want to delete this bill?, button Yes and button Cancel. 32 VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide
33 Register to receive monthly notification of bill payment (for bill payment) 2 Select the button ON for Register to receive monthly notification of bill payment. Save the bill to the list and save the registration to receive monthly notification of bill payment. Follow the steps above to make a bill payment until you see the result screen. The default selection is ON. 35 Register to receive monthly notification of bill payment (add/modify bill) Case 2: Modify a bill 2 Change the status Register to receive monthly notification of bill payment. Tap Save, the bill list has been updated. The application displays the screen for modification of a bill: If you have registered, the default button Register to receive monthly notification of bill payment is ON. If you have not registered, the default button Register to receive monthly notification of bill payment is OFF. VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide 35
36 Monthly notification of bill payment Case 1: At login Bills will be periodically scanned on the 05th, 10th and 20th of every month. The application receives monthly notification of bill payment in Bank information. 2 3 Tap Pay and Log in. The application displays the Bill payment screen for the selected bill. The screen displays QR code of the order. In tab Finance, select QR Pay Method 1: Move the camera to the area containing the QR code. 49 MyQR Function To use VCB-Mobile to make internal transfer in the simplest manner, you can scan the QR Code of a beneficiary s current account to get the information instead of remembering or manually entering the account number. 1 2 The QR code for transfer is located in My QR. Select icon on the top right to use My QR function. Save your QR code to the device gallery by selecting the button Save to gallery, or share your QR code by tapping the button Share on the screen or give your QR code to the sender to scan. 52 Book flight In tab Utilities, select the function Booking flight. 2 - Book flight - Pay - Service information 3 When you tap Book flight, the system will display a confirmation notification: - Select Yes to display the screen of booking flight. - Select Back to display the previous screen. 52 VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide
53 Book flight 4 After selecting Book flight, the system will display one-way flight by default. You can choose one-way or round-trip flight. 5 Select departure point or arrival point. 54 Book flight 5 6 Enter valid information such as Arrival point, departure point, departure date, return date, then tab the button Search. The application displays the Flight list containing the first 10 flights in accordance with the search criteria. Tap View all to see all flights. 55 Book flight 7 Select a flight. The application moves to the screen Customer information (based on the number of customers entered in previous steps, the customer information section will display the corresponding input fields) with information to be entered including: Adult/Child/Infant information, Baggage information (if any), Contact information, , Phone number, Address, Content. 8 After accurately and fully enter passenger information, tap the button Confirm. The application moves to the screen Flight confirmation. Tap Confirm. 9 The application displays a screen notifying successfully booking. After booking successfully, the payment code will be sent via the SMS and you have entered. Note: To get support in booking tickets, tap the icon to contact the air ticket enquiry. 56 Pay 2 3 In tab Utilities, select the function Booking flight. Select Pay. The application displays the screen Pay. Enter the reservation code to be paid, then tab the button Continue. 68 Management of beneficiary list This function manages the list of Beneficiary accounts used for transfer, including internal transfer, external transfer by account, quick transfer by card number. You can save a beneficiary right in this function or during execution of transfer transactions. 3 In tab Setting, select Beneficiary setting. 2 Select Beneficiary list. You can Search/Add/modify/Delete the beneficiary list. Search in the beneficiary list by typing key words into the Search box. Add new items to the beneficiary list by tapping the icon + then declare beneficiary information. Delete an item from the list by selecting one or more item(s) at the same time and tapping the icon. Modify the beneficiary list by tapping an item and modify information. Note: The system successfully adds/modifies an item in the beneficiary list if such item has not been included in the list. 68 VCB-Mobile B@nking User Guide
69 Management of bill list This function manages the list of bills, including electricity bill, postpaid mobile phone bill, landline/home phone bill, Internet ADSL bill, and cable TV bill. You can save to the bill list right in this function or save the bill information (rather than one-time payment bills) during execution of payment transactions. 3 In tab Setting, select Beneficiary setting. 2 Select the Bill list. You can Search/add/modify/delete the bill list. Search in the bill list by typing key words into the Search box. Add new items to the bill list by tapping the icon + then declare bill information. Delete an item from the list by tapping the icon (to delete many items at the same time, selecting those items and tapping the icon ). Modify the bill list by tapping an item and modify information. 71 Fingerprint settings 2 Scan your fingerprint and enter login password to activate this function. 1 In the function Fingerprint settings, select ON for Login by fingerprint,transaction authentication by fingerprint. Note: 1. If Login by fingerprint/ transaction authentication by fingerprint is ON, you can disable this function by selecting OFF. 2. Secure transaction when logging in/authenticating a transaction by fingerprint: Always control the number of fingerprints registered on the device in tab Setting. 01 fingerprint is recommended. Absolutely do not allow anyone to arbitrarily register new/change fingerprints on your device. Always check the list of fingerprints registered on your device. 3. The application will display the default screen in tab Utilities. 77 Activate non-financial utilities first; visit a transaction counter to register VCB-Mobile B@nking In case you have downloaded, installed and activated the application without registration of VCB-Mobile B@nking with VCB: you may only use the functions of non-financial utilities. To activate financial functions, you must register for the service with VCB. After the service has been registered, please activate as follows: During a session of non-financial utility, tap the button Finance, the system will display the notification on successful service registration.
