CMA BROWSER User guide The private use of Telia s Visual Communications on a computer, smart device and browser This user guide contains information on how to join a meeting on a computer, via browser or with a Lync/Skype for Business application.

How to start using the service on a workstation 3. You can use Visual Communications on your workstation. To use the application, you need a web camera. To ensure good sound quality, it is recommended to use a USB headset or speaker. You can download and install the application on a Windows or Mac workstation. Open the application, enter your username and password Log in to the service 3. To adjust the settings, tap the gear wheel icon. 4. Select your camera 5. Select the audio device, remember both the microphone and speaker 6. In the additional settings, you can select whether the application starts up when the workstation is started up, as well as the language and call notifications. 7. Calling with the application To make a new call in the visual service Tap A new call Enter the address you want to call in the address bar 3. Tap the camera icon In the service, device- and user-specific addresses are in the following format: organisaatio.tila@kokous.sonera.fi The addresses of virtual rooms are in the following format: 9012345@kokous.sonera.fi (chairman) and 9112345@kokous.sonera.fi (participant) You can use the application to call directly to another party, whether they are a video conferencing device or a private user. You can also use the application to call outside the organisation. To make an outside call, the address must be either an IP address (e.g. 19168.100) or an SIP address, (e.g. organisaatio.tila@domain.fi). 3. In the application, your image is displayed on the screen and it can be dragged to another location, if necessary. The desktop and video shared by the other party is also simultaneously displayed in your view.

The functions during a call 3. 4. 5. 6. 8. 9. 10. 7. 8. During a call: To mute, tap the microphone button. To activate full screen mode, tap the arrow button. 3. To share your desktop, tap the screen sharing button. You can share the desktop as a whole, or an individual application that is open in the desktop. If you have two monitors, you can choose which of the screens you want to share. 4. To end the call, tap the red button. 5. To view the participants of the meeting, tap the figure button. 6. You can send instant messages to other participants with the speech bubble button, if they are workstation users. Instant messages cannot be sent to the screen of a video conferencing device. 7. You can transfer the call to another video player. 8. To adjust the screen settings, tap the button with three dots. If the meeting needs a PIN code, the keyboard is here 9. To close your own image, tap the camera button. 10. To hide your image view, tap the X button. To unhide the image view, tap the square & arrow button. 10.

Send a meeting invitation You can send a meeting invitation directly in the application in three different ways. - Send the invitation by email - Copy the information and paste it to a separate invitation - Copy a web link and paste it to a separate invitation 3. 4. To send an invitation during a call, tap the figure icon. 3. Tap call and enter the address of the video conferencing device or a telephone number in the field. 4. Tap invite, enter an email address and send. You can also copy-paste the text of the invitation to another application. You can also copy the web link, if the person invited wants to attend the meeting via web browser.

Participate in a meeting via a web browser You can also participate in a video conference using a web browser. The web browsers supported at the moment are Google Chrome and Firefox. To go to full screen mode, tap the arrow icon 5. Share your screen (requires a change in the browser) 6. Leave the meeting 7. See the participants and invite more people to the meeting 8. Write an instant message to another participant. Instant messages cannot be sent to video conferencing devices 9. To transfer the call to another device or display the screen sharing only, tap the screen icon 10. To change the camera and audio settings, tap the gear wheel icon 1 To change the screen settings and display the number keyboard, tap the icon with three dots.

Using Skype for Business with Telia's visual service Call Screen sharing Share your desktop or application Enter the address of the virtual room, for example: organisaatio.virtuaali@kokous.sonera.fi and press enter or select the address of the virtual room in the favourites and double-click it Change the video and sharing settings Select video call And start your video Mute End Call The use of the visual service requires the federation of Skype For Business to Telia s visual service. If the service does not work, contact your information management staff.

Using Skype for Business with Telia's visual service 3. You can use Visual Communications on a tablet or smartphone with ios. To ensure good sound quality, we recommend that you use a Bluetooth or corded headset. You can download the application from the app store. Start the application, enter your username and password Log in to the service. 3. To adjust the settings, tap the gear wheel icon. 4. Log out 5. To switch off the camera, tap the camera icon 6.
