Desigo RXA Room controllers without bus communications TM Desigo RXA is a range of individual room controllers for fan-coil systems. It ensures individual demand-based comfort for the occupants of public buildings, offices, schools, hotels, etc. TM A sense of well-being and comfort in every room Most people in the industrial world spend some 90 % of their time indoors. About one third of this time is spent at work. In this context it is clear that good indoor air quality, the right temperature and draught-free air renewal are vital prerequisites for a sense of well-being and motivation. In offices, public buildings and hotels, the indoor air is often conditioned with fan-coil units. The Desigo RXA range includes all the necessary control equipment for applications of this kind. The following options are available, depending on the application software: - Two-pipe system with change-over - Four-pipe system - Electric heating and water-based cooling - With or without fan speed control - Thermic or motorized valves - Limit control of the injected air - Fan-coil unit with outside air damper 3
Range overview Raumkontroller Desigo TM RXA the innovative room control range The Desigo TM RXA hardware The range comprises the compact room controllers, Desigo RXA20.1, RXA21.1, RXA22.1 and RXA29.1. The input/output configuration and mounting options of these controllers make them ideal for fan coil applications. They can be installed in the fan coil unit, in control panels or on ducting. In conjunction with the available application software, they can also be used for radiator-type applications. The HVAC functions can be operated with standard room units. The Desigo TM RXA software Each Desigo RXA controller is loaded with application software for a variety of applications. Each application includes a range of control and interlock programs. The required application is selected by means of programming switches on the room controller. The Desigo RXA controller then controls comfort conditions in rooms and enclosed zones on the basis of the selected application. Each room or zone can be operated in accordance with specific requirements. The result is optimum comfort using the minimum of energy. Radiators HVAC Fan coils QAX30.1... Individual operation at room level The Desigo RXA range of room units is designed to fulfil a wide range of different user requirements. When designing these stylish room units, the designers also placed special emphasis on ergonomic factors. The standard QAX30.1... QAX39.1 room units are available as one option for the HVAC applications. They are connected to the Desigo RXA controller via a special interface. Alternatively, the system can be operated with conventional HVAC room units. The programming switches on the room controller are then used to define the application actually required and to set the associated parameters.
