MAZDA Application Purchase and Installation Guide The next screen will provide you the link to download the Mazda application and Invoice #, User ID and pre-defined Password as well as other misc. information. An email will also be sent to the email provided. You will be able to change your Password in the View My Account area. If you selected the Mazda application download Click on Click To Download. Click on Save, recommended to Desktop. In the case of saving the file to your Desktop, locate the MMPxx icon on your desktop and double-click on it to install the application on your PC. NOTE: This guide is and shows the common steps in reprogramming. Application-specific variations may not be represented. Simply follow the applicable screen prompts and proceed as indicated. This process is subject to change w/o notice. Click on the Mazda icon. Click on Flash2 Reprogramming. Read Warning information and click on Next. Make sure Ignition Switch on the VEHICLE is in the On position and click on OK. It is strongly recommended that a Battery Test be conducted. Read the notes and click on Battery Test. Battery test is within acceptable parameters. Click Next. IMPORTANT! Please read carefully and follow the directions. If you need to click on the Launch button, please see the next diagram for instructions. Otherwise, click Next and you with go into the Mazda Module Programming (MMP) Application. 1 2 3 Select Cardone Industries, In. (04.04) and then FLASH2 All-Makes Reprogrammer. Click Save Device and then Exit Application. 4 Click on Next and you ll launch into the Mazda Module Programming (MMP) Application. Section G2 Page 2 of 12
Click on Continue. Click on Start New Session. Click on the Tick icon. Establish an Internet connection and select Confirm. To ensure your Internet connection is functioning, open and Internet session. Section G2 Page 3 of 12
Read the important Warning information. NOTE: When doing off-car reprogramming, some prompts do not apply and the appropriate responses are those as if you were doing an on-car reprogramming event. Click the Tick icon to continue. Confirmation of the Vehicle Specification. Click on YES. If the Vehicle specification is not correct or communication was not established with the PCM, please refer to the Ford Blank Path documentation. These fields are OPTIONAL. Fill in the last 8 digits of the VIN number, Repair Order (RO) number and Odometer reading number. You will need to click on each box before typing this information. For more information regarding this feature, please see the Mazda Module Programming User s Guide. When done, click on the Tick icon. Click on the Toolbox Tab. Section G2 Page 4 of 12
Click on Module Programming and then the Tick icon. Click on Module Reprogramming, then PCM, then the Tick mark. Click Yes. Ensure Internet Connection and click Confirm. Section G2 Page 5 of 12
Read and click the Tick mark. Click the Tick mark. Click Yes. Read and click the Tick mark. Where there is an arrow, you may click on the option(s) listed on the left side of the screen. Click on Delete to delete the session. More information on how to use these features is available in the Mazda User Guide. Close out of the MMP by clicking on the X in the upper right corner.
