Game Starter Kit Cheat Sheet In this cheat sheet, I am going to show you how you can create your own custom Flappy Bird Game in a matter of minutes, using FREE Software. The same style of game that was reportedly making $50,000 per day before the developer decided to take it down. You don t need any prior programming experience or any technical skills whatsoever you just need to follow some simple steps. I even provide you with all of the artwork and sounds you will need to create your own version of this #1 Hit Game. Let s get started. Step 1: Download and install the FREE GameSalad Creator Tool on your Mac or PC www.gamesalad.com/creator The FREE version allows you to publish your game on a limited number of app stores, while the paid version includes the option to publish in almost all of the app stores including (Google, itunes, Amazon, Windows, Mac, etc ). * P.S. students in my App Rush Academy Coaching Program get 50% off the paid version ($150 Savings). Step 2: Once you have GS Creator installed you are ready to begin. The first thing you are going to need are the images I provided in the zipped folder. You should see 17 Images (Background, 2 images of Birds, Instruction Image, Ground, Numbers, etc ) and 5 sounds (Swoosh, Score, Smack). Download these images and sounds onto your computer somewhere where you can easily find them. Step 3: Open GameSalad Creator, Select the ipad Portrait orientation and Import all of the images by clicking on the plus sign in the bottom left hand corner of the program, select all of the images and click open. Now click on the sounds tab, click the plus sign in the bottom left corner and import the 3 sounds import them as sound. Step 4: Create 4 Game Attributes to be used later to keep score, and so that we know if the bird is still alive and flying or if it has collided with an object or the ground and the game should be over. Create 4 Game Attributes 1. Playing (Boolean) = unchecked 2. Is Dead (Boolean) = unchecked 3. Score (Integer) = 0 4. Speed (Integer) = 200 Drag Images into Actor Panel Create 4 new Actors 1. Controller 2. Invisible Goal 3. Score

You could: 1. Have the speed increase over time or have different levels (just change game.speed) 2. You could add coins between the gaps in the objects and allow the user to buy stuff with coins 3. You could make the spacing of the gaps random to be tighter or wider 4. The possibilities are really endless of what you could do to create your own version of this #1 Hit Arcade Game. I hope you enjoyed this and have huge success with your customized version of Flappy Bird. Keep a look out for future videos and training from App Rush Academy. http://www.apprushacademy.com
