New Features in Release 8.2.3: Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements. APPENDIX A AOS Lite 8.2.x RELEASE NOTE HISTORY AOS Lite Release 8.2.3-157 Resolved Issues NAS-ID WAP9112 Resolved Issues for 9100 AOS Lite Access Points 18832 After the access point boots up, for 1-2 minutes it would broadcast WPA2 secured s as Open unsecured s. 18877 Corrected the wrong Tx statistics issue for the WAP9112 2.4GHz radio. The Dynamic Channel Selection (DCS) of a 2.4GHz radio is now disabled during system boot-up to avoid accidental channel shifting. 18861 Added NAS-ID section on a RADIUS request into all Webpage redirect-url if there is a valid Network Access Server ID (NAS-ID) configured. 18936 - Fixed the wifidog process quit issue on a caused by the NAS-ID modification above. 18760 Blasting the switch with broadcast traffic for several hours could cause the Uplink port on the WAP9112 to lock up and it never recovers until you power cycle the access point. Limitations and Conditions Limitations and Conditions for 9100 AOS Lite Access Points WAP9112 <Per- QoS>, <802.1p Mapping> and <Packet Filter Classification> do not work on 5GHz radios. Wireless stations associated with the same of the 5GHz radio can access each other even if different VLAN IDs are dynamically assigned to them. Please use the Station-to-Station Blocking function instead. Previous AOS Lite 7.5.1-44 release carries wrong implementation of SSH password. Please avoid changing the password in that release. A system reset is needed if upgrading from v7.7.0-63 or older releases The STP function has been disabled and removed from the releases. Avaya Inc - External Distribution 5

Known Issues Heavy Load DHCP Known Issues for 9100 AOS Lite Access Points AOS Lite APs report offline when the CPU is under heavy load. 18945 - Gig port DHCP stops sending Discover Packets when no response from DHCP Server. AOS Lite Release 8.2.2-155 New Features in Release 8.2.2 Improved stability for WPR Resolved Issues for AOS Lite 8.2.2 Diagnostic Diagnostic LED LED Resolved Issues for 9100 AOS Lite Access Points Fixed and improved the accuracy of CPU usage shown in get-diagnostic result. Removed unnecessary strace information from diagnostic log in WSS daemon. Fixed so that the LED won t be lit up by the led-all on command if the corresponding radio is off or idle. The status of led-all is now displayed in the running-config. SSH Updated the copyright information in SSH banner to 2017. Station Table Station Table WAP9112 Uplink WAP9112 Uplink WAP9112 Uplink WPR WPR WPR WSS WSS Stopped the IEEE80211_IOCTL_LITEON_EXTEND:Bad address message triggered by show json station-table. Access point would stop responding to data polling commands. Uplink gets locked up under heavy load. Pause flow control frames are sent from the WAP9112 with the source MAC address reversed. WAP9112 sends flow control packets continuously, even after the switch stopped sending traffic. Added a recovery mechanism to check the status of WPR daemon every 1 minute and restart it if the daemon is down. Added a Syslog message to report the status of all sub-threads of WPR every 1 minute. WPR stopped working during high usage. Fixed [ZT-18752] by automatically inserting a top command in the beginning of each STOMP message. The awsd daemon now has been granted with the highest priority in user space. Avaya Inc - External Distribution 6

Limitations and Conditions for AOS Lite 8.2.2 SSH Limitations and Conditions for 9100 AOS Lite Access Points <Per- QoS>, <802.1p Mapping> and <Packet Filter Classification> do not work on 5GHz radios.
