Click OK and then Apply. 1. Select Connection Operation Tab. 2. Under Roaming mode, Select Disable and click Change. 3. Highlight the profile. 4. Click Set to apply the new profile. Telkom Dongles Connection Manager Switch the device on Connect the device using the USB cable Using your web browser, go to http://192.168.8.1 01 Profiles Tab 02 Click on Edit 03 Change the Profile name to 04 Change the APN to 06 Click on connection 07 Select from the profile list 05 Click on Save Once you click Connect you will be authenticated to the Telkom Internet Mobile Network, upon successful authentication you will have access to the internet. 08 Click Connect
2. Other device settings We will be looking at the scenarios when a Telkom Internet Mobile user inserts the Telkom Internet Mobile SIM directly into their devices and how to change the settings to connect to the Telkom Internet Mobile Network. 2.1. Android operating system 01 Click on Settings 02 Click on wireless and networks 04 Select Access Point Names 03 Click on Mobile Networks 06 Name field 05 Select the dropdown list and click on New APN
07 In the name field add and click on OK 6. Name field 08 Click on APN 09 Add and click OK 10 Select the dropdown list and click save 11 Select the APN Once authenticated, the customer can then open the browser and should be able to surf the internet using the Telkom Internet Mobile Data.

2.3. Windows operating system 01 Open the Settings page 02 Choose Access Point 03 Plus sign to add a new APN
04 In the connection name field add 06 Select the Tick to accept the changes 05 Change the Access Point name to Once authenticated, the customer can then open the browser and should be able to surf the internet using the Telkom Internet Mobile Data.
2.4. Blackberry operating system 01 Select All from the Blackberry home screen 02 Open the Settings Menu 03 Select the Device Option 04 Select Advanced System Settings
05 Select TCP/IP 06 Ensure that the APN setting is enabled. Change the APN: to. 07 Press the blackberry button and choose save. Once authenticated, the customer can then open the browser and should be able to surf the internet using the Telkom Internet Mobile Data.
2.5. MTN 01 Click on Setup Tab 02 Profile option
03 + to add the profile name 04 In the profile field add
05 Click Save 07 From the connect to dropdown list choose 06 Click on Connections 08 Connect button Once you click Connect you will be authenticated to the Telkom Internet Mobile Network, upon successful authentication you will have access to the internet.
2.6. Vodacom 01 Advanced button 02 Priorities Option 03 Click on Add Settings 04 Select the Mobile Type and click on the OK button
05 In the General setting page, add in the name 06 Change the APN name to 07 Click Ok 08 Click on Status 10 PIN Code 09 Select the APN name
11 Enter the dongle PIN and click on OK 12 Click on Connect Once you click Connect you will be authenticated to the Telkom Internet Mobile Network, upon successful authentication you will have access to the internet.
2.7. Cell C 01 Click on Settings 02 Add button 03 In the config field, add the APN name 04 Select the radio button next to use the following APN
05 In the config field, add the APN name 07 Click on Connection 06 OK button 08 From the connection dropdown list choose 09 Click on Connect Once you click Connect you will be authenticated to the Telkom Internet Mobile Network, upon successful authentication you will have access to the internet.
