Government Printing Works implements a new Notice Quoting System As part of enhancing their investment in the egazette Solution, Government Printing Works will be implementing a new Notice Quoting System from 7 November 2016. This new functionality will bring internal process and system enhancements to GPW and streamline the notice quoting process for you, the customer. QUOTING CATEGORIES In line with the GPW notice tariff pricing structure implemented in April 2016, the Quoting System will be defined into three categories: 1. Variable Priced Form Content 2. Variable Priced Separate Content 3. Fixed Priced Notices VARIABLE PRICED FORM CONTENT NOTICES When requesting a quote for a Variable Priced Form Content notice, e.g. Orders of the Court, you are required to email your request for quote with the completed Adobe Form attached to info.egazette@gpw.gov.za. Form Content notices follow a different process to Variable Priced - Separate Content notices in the Notice Quoting System. The Adobe form supplied is uploaded by the Contact Centre Agent and the system automatically calculates the cost of your notice based on the information supplied. Please refer below for form completion rules relating to Form Content notices. For Variable Priced Form Content notices, i.e. Sales in Execution, Orders of the Court, Company Notices, etc. it is critical that these Adobe Forms are completed correctly and adhere to the guidelines stipulated by GPW. Quotes for these notices can have multiple line items. This means that different notice types can be listed on a single quote, e.g. 2 x Company Notices and/or 2 x General Notices and/or 2 x TForm4. Quote Cost = R450.00 Quote Cost = R750.00 These rules apply to ALL notice types with text boxes. The text box on page 2 is for entering the details The font type & size must be Arial pt 9 Line spacing should be the default of 1.0 Do not use tabs, additional hard/soft returns at the end of the line/paragraphs. The quote you receive from GPW is system generated and will be based on the format of the content received. Should you submit your form with the incorrect formatting for quoting purposes, GPW will quote accordingly, however, upon submitting your notice, GPW will adhere to the requirements of the gazette layout and format the content as required. Should there be a difference in cost vs quote, GPW will not be held liable to refund any amount to you, the customer. The example above shows the differences in cost, based on the correct/incorrect formatting used on the same form.

VARIABLE PRICED FORM CONTENT NOTICES continued Variable priced notices (Sales in execution, Orders of the Court, General Legal, Public Auctions, Company Notice, Business Notices, Liquidators Notice) are priced based on the amount of page space that the notice takes up at a rate of R150.00 per quarter page with a full page cost of R600.00 per page. Pricing for Variable Priced - Form Content Notices Sales in execution ¼ page 150.00 Orders of the Court ¼ page 150.00 General Legal ¼ page 150.00 Public Auctions ¼ page 150.00 Company Notice ¼ page 150.00 Business Notices ¼ page 150.00 Liquidators Notice ¼ page 150.00 VARIABLE PRICED FORM CONTENT: TENDER NOTICES (NO SEPARATE CONTENT) Variable priced Tender notices with no separate content are priced based on the amount of page space that the customer notice takes up at a rate of R250.00 per quarter page with a full page cost of R1000.00 per page. Pricing for Tender Forms - Variable Priced - Form Content Notices TForm1, TForm2, TForm3, TForm4 ¼ page 250.00 TForm1, TForm2, TForm3, TForm4 ½ page 500.00 TForm1, TForm2, TForm3, TForm4 ¾ page 750.00 TForm1, TForm2, TForm3, TForm4 Full page 1000.00 VARIABLE PRICED SEPARATE CONTENT: NATIONAL, PROVINCIAL & TENDERS In the case where you, the customer, requests a quote for a notice that has separate content, e.g. Z95 plus content (separate Word document), the responsibility lies with you to provide the number of pages that the notice content consists of. Quotes for these types of notices can be requested via telephone, email and/or walk-in at the egazette Contact Centre. GPW reserves the right to invoice the actual quantity of pages printed should this differ from the number of pages quoted. Quotes for Variable Priced - Separate Content notices can have multiple line items, i.e. different notice types can be listed on a single quote, e.g. 2 x Z95Prov and/or 3 x Z95 notices and/or 2 x TForm 3 with separate content. Pricing for National, Provincial & Tender: Variable Priced - Separate Content Notices TForm3, Ordinary National, Provincial ¼ page 250.00 TForm3, Ordinary National, Provincial ½ page 500.00 TForm3, Ordinary National, Provincial ¾ page 750.00 TForm3, Ordinary National, Provincial Full page 1000.00 You are reminded to include your quote with your notice submission. Your email must have an electronic Adobe Form plus proof of payment or purchase order and quotation 3 separate attachments where notice content is applicable, it should also be a 4th separate attachment.

EXTRA-ORDINARY NOTICES All Extra-ordinary National and Provincial gazette notices are non-standard notices and attract a variable price based on the number of pages. The pricing structure for National and Provincial notices which are submitted as Extra ordinary submissions is charged at R3000 per page. Quotes for extra-ordinary notices can be requested via telephone, email and/or walk-in at the egazette Contact Centre. You will be required to specify the number of pages of the notice. GPW reserves the right to invoice the actual quantity of pages printed should this differ from the number of pages quoted. FIXED PRICE NOTICES Quotes for Fixed Price notices can be requested via telephone, email and/or walk-in at the egazette Contact Centre. These quotes can have multiple line items. In other words, different notice types can be listed on a single quote, e.g. 2 x J193 and/or 3 x Form 2 and/or 2 x Application for Liquor Licence Gauteng. Please refer to the GPW Website (www.gpwonline.co.za) for a comprehensive list of tariffs for fixed priced notices. PAYMENT DOCUMENTS GPW accepts the following types of payment documents only: Purchase Order GPW Account Customers only EFT (Bank Transfer) Cash Receipt Walk-in customers only Bank Deposit Slip GPW no longer accepts cheques as a form of payment. Each of the above payment documents have specific criteria that must be adhered to. Refer to the table below. Payment Document Type Purchase Order EFT (Bank Transfer) Cash Receipt Bank Deposit Slip Accepted Payment Documents List of Criteria Can only be used by GPW Account Customers Must be legible and contain the following: o Valid PO Number o Addressed to Government Printing Works Must be legible and contain the following: o Payment Reference Number Must be a valid GPW Cash Receipt Must be legible when scanned Must be Bank stamped Must contain: o Payment Reference Number For Cash customers that request quotes from GPW, the payment reference number MUST always be the quote number.

QUOTING BUSINESS RULES PHASE 1 The following rules apply when requesting a quote from the GPW egazette Contact Centre and subsequently submitting a notice. 1. Quotations are valid until the next tariff change. Take note: GPW s annual tariff increase takes place on 1 April therefore any quotes issued, accepted and submitted for publication up to 31 March will keep the old tariff. For notices to be published from 1 April, a quote must be obtained from GPW with the new tariffs. Where a tariff increase is implemented during the year, GPW endeavours to provide customers with 30 days notice of such changes. 2. Form Content notices must be emailed to the egazette Contact Centre for a quote. 3. APPLICABLE ONLY TO GPW ACCOUNT HOLDERS - GPW Account Customers must provide a valid GPW account number to obtain a quote. 4. APPLICABLE ONLY TO GPW ACCOUNT HOLDERS - Accounts for GPW account customers must be active with sufficient credit to transact with GPW to submit notices. If you are unsure about or need to resolve the status of your account, please contact the GPW Finance Department prior to submitting your notices. (If the account status is not resolved prior to submission of your notice, the notice will be failed during the process). 5. The responsibility lies with you, the customer, to ensure that the payment made for your notice(s) to be published is sufficient to cover the cost of the notice(s). 6. APPLICABLE TO CASH CUSTOMERS ONLY Cash customers doing bulk payments will be required to use a single email address in order to use the same proof of payment for submitting multiple notices. 7. Every notice submitted must be accompanied by a valid & legible proof of payment document. 8. Each quote will be associated with one proof of payment / purchase order / cash receipt. This means that the quote number can only be used once to make a payment. TARIFFS FOR NOTICES For a list of tariffs charged for notices per pricing category, please refer to the GPW website: www.gpwonline.co.za. The list can be found on the Gazette Services page under the Tariff Rates 2016 tab. Please also take note that these tariffs were effective from 1 April 2016. THE NEW QUOTE DOCUMENT LAYOUT The new quote PDF document will have a new and different layout to the previous Excel version. Each quote will have a unique quote number and a date & time stamp of when the quote was generated. Please refer to the next page for more information.

Customer details Customer details will reflect in this section. Account customers will display 2 additional fields Customer Account Number & Account Status. Payment reference number Payment Reference Number Each quote will have a unique payment reference number. This will be the quote number. = Quote number The Payment reference number MUST be the quote number Quote details The Quote details will reflect the notice types quoted for. TAKE NOTE: Prices quoted are based on the lowest unit of measure for that specific notice, e.g. Z95 Ordinary Provincial notice is charged at R250 per quarter page.
