This will take you to the B2B homepage. c) Forgotten password Tick the box to display the Password Recovery form. Figure 2 - Forgotton Password Screen Enter your valid email address or username and click on submit button. You will be asked to confirm the answer to your chosen security question. If this is answered correctly a new password will be sent to your email address. Your new password will be a series of numbers, letters or symbols as shown below Figure 4 Password Recovery Email Please note that you can copy the password from the email and paste it directly into the Password form on the B2B Log In screen. Once logged on you will be prompted to change your password. 3 Creating/Maintaining Authorisations a) Creating a new user Click on Manage Users from the top navigation of the B2B homepage. The following screen will appear. Figure 7 - Manage Users Screen Click on Create New User Figure 8 - Create New User Screen Your dealer account no. and name will populate automatically in the correct fields. Default shipping address Home Orders if you are processing home orders only on the B2B site this field can be left blank. Home and Trade orders if you are placing trade orders as well as home orders on the site you can choose a default shipping address. This is for the use with trade orders only, where you place orders for certain delivery addresses. It helps if you use one delivery address more than others and will automatically populate in the order screen when placing an order to save entering the details every time an order is placed. You do have an option to change the delivery address as required and all addresses shown are from Miele SAP master-data and entered at Miele HO. Date: 22/02/2011 Page 5

b) Choosing security levels Users are determined by choosing selected security levels and roles. Figure 9 - User Access Levels There are three security levels: Dealer Contact This person will have full access to the site (this will include credit limit status when Miele add this at a later stage) and will be able to set up new users and choose individual access levels. Supervisor This person can create new/edit users access for security levels Supervisor and Staff. Staff This person will have access rights to the roles chosen by above. c) Choosing access roles You can choose the access for each person by ticking the roles required. Home Orders: the person will have access to place home orders on the site. Trade Orders: the person will have access to place trade orders on the site, if required. Pricing: Spares: the person will have access to see the trade price of each model. the person will have access to log into the Miele Web ETD, import a shopping basket and place spares orders on the site. No roles ticked: this person will only be able to check availability. Date: 22/02/2011 Page 6

d) User Name If the email used to create this user is shared by others, you can tick the box to display the User Name field. In this case the User Name should be used to Log In instead of the email address. Figure 10 - User Name Tickbox e) Password & security question Once the new user has been created and the information saved this will be confirmed with the default password for the new user on the following screen. Figure 11 - New User Created Click Continue and this will allow the new user to log on to B2B. Figure 12 - Log In Screen The new user needs to log on to the site using their email address or user name and the default password: newuser* (Please note: this password is case sensitive) For security purposes the following screen will be displayed to ask the new user to provide a new password, security question, and security answer. Figure 13 - New Security Information Screen The password needs to be 5 characters or more. The security question and security answer can be anything you like and is only used when the user has forgotten his password. Click on Save and the new information will be updated. The new user will now have access to the B2B site. Figure 14 - Security Information Updated f) Editing user details Click on Manage Users from the top navigation of the B2B homepage and as before the following screen will appear. Figure 15 - Manage Users You can search for existing users by shipping address, security level, first name, surname or email. Clicking on Search will give you a list of results found. (If you click on Search without entering any further information this will list all of the users associated with your dealer.) Date: 22/02/2011 Page 8

Figure 16 - User Search Results You can amend the details as required per person by clicking on the Edit or Reset Password buttons. g) De-activating a user From the Edit User screen, remove the tick in the User Active box and this will de-activate the user s access immediately. Figure 17 - Edit User Screen 4 Administration To Show Pricing Dependant on access roles you are able to choose whether you would like to see trade pricing whilst using the site. This can be switched on or off at any point. You will be reminded when Pricing is available but hidden and vice versa. Figure 18 - Pricing Reminder Click on the Settings link on the left-side navigation panel. Within the Settings screen, select Show pricing: Yes. Click the Save for future visits button for B2B to remember this setting for future visits. Figure 19 - Settings Screen Date: 22/02/2011 Page 9

This will add the Trade Price column to the product lines displayed within the Product Search and the Basket., as well as the Net Sales Amount column to the order lines displayed in Order History. Please note: the Trade Price displayed does not include any discounts. Figure 20 - Catalogue Search Results Screen 5 Searching for products in the product catalogue There are several ways to search for appliances to add them to a basket. a) Product Search from the left-side navigation panel By using the Product Search box this gives you two ways to search for products, by model or by material no. Figure 21 - Product Search Box (left-side navigation panel) b) By Model You can enter any part of the model name and then press return or click Go. A minimum of 2 characters is required. Figure 23 - Catalogue Search Results Screen c) By Material No You can enter any part of the model number and then press return or click Go. A minimum of 2 numbers is required, and no non-numeric values can be entered. Figure 25 - Catalogue Search Results Screen d) Search by Product Categories from the left-side navigation panel Based on your product catalogue, you can search by product categories: Domestic, Professional and/or SemiProfessional. Figure 28 - Catalogue Search Results Screen Please note that searching by category displays a hierarchical breadcrumb trail that allows you to navigate backwards through the product hierarchy. Figure 29 - Product Hierarchy Breadcrumb Trail The Catalogue Search Results screen also contains a Category column which will perform a search by category hierarchy when selected. e) Quick Search from the Basket Within the Basket Screen you can perform a quick search Figure 30 - Quick Search The By Model and By Material No fields behave similarly to the same fields in the Product Search described above. Figure 31 - Quick Search Results Double click a value returned or select one and click Add to add the item to your basket. f) Catalogue Search Results screen Figure 32 - Catalogue Search Results Screen The Catalogue Search Results screen is initially sorted by Trade Price. Any of the column headers can be clicked to sort the results again by ascending and descending values. You can add products to the basket from the Catalogue Search Results screen by clicking on the Add to Basket button. 6 Stock Availability Check You can check stock availability from the Catalogue Search Results screen by clicking on the Availability button. The following icon will appear whilst the system is checking the stock available at Miele Abingdon. Figure 34 - Availability Check Screen You are able to update the quantity from this stage by changing the quantity and clicking on the Check Again button causing another stock availability check to be performed for the newly entered quantity. You can then choose to add the product(s) to your basket by clicking Add to Basket or close the Availability check window and go back to the previous screen. 7 Additional Product Data a) Sales Status Figure 35 - Catalogue Search Result with Sales Text Products may display a sales status description which gives additional information relating to the product. These items may still be ordered and are high-lighted in red in the search fields. To be discontinued these products are discontinued lines but we still have some stock available. New product inspection Restricted stock b) Sales text these products are new models, which are not currently in stock but will become available and orders may still be processed for these items. subsequent to release, stock of these products has been witheld from sale. Sales Text will be displayed in the Basket, Availability and Quick Search screens to prompt you to add additional items to go with a chosen product. For example, if you choose an integrated dishwasher a prompt will show to add the corresponding fascia if required. Figure 36 - Sales Text Pop-up Date: 22/02/2011 Page 14

You will also see Sales Text in the Basket Screen and subsequent Order Processing screens. Figure 37 - Basket Screen with Sales Text 8 Searching for spare parts in the Web ETD Dependant on access roles, you can access the Web ETD, Miele s online spare parts appliction, by clicking Spares (ETD) in the left-side navigation. Figure 38 - Product Categories Search Box (left-side navigation panel) Logging in to the Web ETD requires a User name and Password separate from your B2B User name and Password. Figure 39 - Web ETD Login You can import a Web ETD shopping basket into a B2B Basket by clicking on the Send icon in the Web ETD shopping basket screens (circled in the 2 screens below). After the first product from the Product Catalogue is added to your basket, you will be prevented from adding any spare parts from the Web ETD. From the Basket screen, you ll see the following in the upper-right corner: Figure 44 - Appliance Order Info a. Domestic Order If the first item added to an Appliance Order is part of the Domesitc product hierarchy, then this Order will be classified as a Domestic Order From the Basket screen, you ll see the following in the breadcrumb trail: Figure 45 - Domestic Order Breadcrumb Trail Date: 22/02/2011 Page 17

b. Professional Order If the first item added to an Appliance Order is part of the Professional or SemiProfessional product hierarchy, then this Order will be classified as a Professional Order From the Basket screen, you ll see the following in the breadcrumb trail: Figure 46 - Professional Order Breadcrumb Trail b) Spares Orders A Spares Order only contains spare parts that are imported from the Web ETD. When you import spare parts from the Web ETD, you will be prevented from adding any products from the Product Catalogue. From the Basket screen, you ll see the following in the upper-right corner: Figure 47 - Spares Order Info You ll also see the following in the breadcrumb trail: Figure 48 - Spares Order Breadcrumb Trail 10 The Basket c) Navigating to the Basket Before any items have been added to the basket, you can navigate to the empty basket by selecting Create Order under the Orders heading from the left-side navigation panel. Once a product has been added to the basket the empty basket icon will be updated at the top right to indicate that your basket now has an item in it. Figure 51 - Basket Icons Additionally, the Create Order option under the Orders heading from the left-side navigation panel changes to read Basket. Figure 52 - Orders Box (left-side navigation panel) d) The Basket screen The basket screen displays as follows: Figure 53 - Basket Screen From the basket screen you can: Change the quantity of the line items required Check stock availability Remove a line item Perform a Quick Search to add additional products Empty the entire contents of the basket Once your order is complete click on Process Trade Order or Process Home Order. This checks stock availability for all of the items in your order, whether or not stock availability was checked previously. Date: 22/02/2011 Page 21

Figure 54 - Checking Item Availability Pop-up 11 Order Details Screen - Trade Orders Depending on the contents of your Trade Order, the Order Details screen looks like any of the following screens: a) Standard Domestic Trade Order Figure 55 - Standard Domestic Trade Order Entering Order Details: a. Request Pre Delivery Notification Email When this box is ticked an email will be sent upon notification of delivery to the email address of record b. Purchase Order Reference You will need to provide your purchase order no. Despatch Method Normal Despatch Combined Delivery Collection c. Despatch Method You must choose how you would like your order despatched from Miele: Description Items will be shipped as they become available Appliance and spare parts will be shipped together via trade carrier Customer to collect from Miele premises d. Delivery Address The default delivery address chosen per user will populate automatically in this box. Click on the Delivery Address drop down control to change if required. All addresses shown are from Miele SAP master-data and entered at Miele HO. Date: 22/02/2011 Page 22

b) Domestic Trade Order to Customer Address If all of the items in a Domestic Order qualify for delivery to a customer address, then you ll see the following screen: Figure 56 - Domestic Trade Order to Customer Address Additional Order Details: a. Complete Delivery If the default value on your dealer account is not to do so, you can indicate that you would prefer all of your items to be delivered together. c. Delivery Instructions You can add additional delivery instructions here to advise of any access considerations and customer call requests from the delivery driver prior to the delivery. d) Standard Spares Trade Order Date: 22/02/2011 Page 24

Click the Next button. 12 Choose Delivery Date Screen - Trade Orders Clicking the Next button in the Order Details screen will determine the list valid delivery dates based on the despatch method chosen. Requested Delivery Date To choose when you would like delivery, click on the Requested Delivery Date drop down control and dates will be displayed. Please be aware that the delivery dates supplied are in-line with our SLA agreement stated in the Miele terms and conditions. Immediate Delivery: If you choose this option we will deliver within our normal 96 hour SLA criteria. Choosing a date: We will arrange delivery as near to this date as possible within our SLA agreement. Scotland, Northern England, off shore dealers and special delivery agreements: Please select immediate delivery we will deliver on the earliest next agreed delivery date from the date the order was placed. Out of stock products If one or more products are out of stock you can still choose a delivery date however the items in stock will be delivered as above and the out of stock items will follow at the soonest date possible after the stock is available at Miele Abingdon. Place Order Click on Place Order to confirm and place order. Figure 61 - Order being Placed Pop-up 13 Additional Services Screen Home Orders Figure 62 - Additional Services Screen - Home Orders Entering Order Details: a) Connection or Recycle (Disposal) If the customer would like to take advantage of the Connection or Recycle (disposal) facilities you can add these here by clicking the boxes highlighted in red. Connection Recycle (Disposal) - Wet connections only with adjacent plumbing. - We offer this on all appliances. Click on the Next button to go to the Customer Details screen. An availability check will be made again to Miele Abingdon. A home phone number is also required. (All mandatory fields are marked with a *.) Again you can return to previous screens from here by clicking on the Previous button. Figure 66 - Choose Delivery Date - Home Orders (Products in Stock) Entering Order Details: a) Requested Delivery Date Click on the Requested Delivery Date drop down control to list all of the dates available for delivery. Click on the date you require and this will populate the text box. If one or more of the products are out of stock a delivery date choice will not be given, a message will be displayed to advise a delivery date to be confirmed. You can amend the order from here or process the order by clicking on Place order. Figure 68 - Order being Placed Pop-up Place order - Miele will contact the customer as soon as the product(s) become available and arrange a delivery date. 16 Order Acknowledgement Once you have completed and clicked on the Place order button an order acknowledgement will appear. This will advise you of all order details and supply your Miele order confirmation number. Figure 69 - Order Acknowledgement (All items in stock) The acknowledgement will also confirm if the product is in or out of stock at the time of order. This is shown in the boxes showing Requested Qty and Confirmed Qty. If an item is showing a 0 in Confirmed Qty this means the product is out of stock and requested delivery date will be To be confirmed. Date: 21/02/2011 Page 30

Figure 70 - Order Acknowledgement (Out of stock items) Click on Home to take you back to the B2B Homepage. Click on Print to print the order acknowledgement. This will open a new browser window (or tab) with a printer-friendly copy of your acknowledgement. The Print window should pop up automatically. 17 Order History To view ALL orders placed with Miele (not just orders placed through the B2B Dealer Portal) click on the Order History link in the left- navigation panel of B2B. Figure 71 - Orders Box (left-side navigation panel) You can then find your order(s) by Miele Order Number or by Purchase Order Reference or by date Figure 72 - Order History Screen Clicking Search will make a call to Miele HO to retrieve your up-to-date order list information, including pricing if it s been enabled through Admin Settings.
