ELDY - CINISELLO BALSAMO ELDY - Train the trainer CORSI DI FORMAZIONE 1

Eldy is a not for profit project set up in 2006 to find the best way to include senior citizens and vulnerable people in the growing world of digital communication by making access to the internet and its applications simpler and less frightening. Through Eldy people with little technical skill or understanding can carry out day to day digital tasks and join the e-revolution. This has lead to senior citizens being isolated and missing out on the advantages of the e- revolution in government services, commerce and all aspects of daily life. From a start in Italy, Eldy now has 400,000 users, 90% of them over 55 and 70% having never used a computer before Eldy. It is now available in 29 different languages as a simplified Graphic User interface to allow Senior citizens to access the internet, send email, chat by message or video, access popular news, weather and TV websites, without having to use a standard browser with its complex menus and millions of options, which dismay and confuse. Thank you for spread Eldy in the the world! Anna Bianco President Eldy ngo www.eldy.eu Mail: info@eldy.org 2
