Quadrant cases from CEREC Connect in inlab CEREC Connect supports doing single cases as well as multiple units (quadrants). For doing quadrant cases from CEREC Connect with the inlab software a specific workflow must be followed. This document describes the workflow of how doing quadrant cases in the inlab software. General Workflow The general workflow of the process doing quadrants is as following: Introduction: An example Quadrant case The following example shows the workflow for a typical quadrant case. A dentist made a quadrant case with one inlay and two crowns (posterior and anterior). He submitted the case over the connect portal to your lab. Now open the inlab software and click the Connect icon to access the connect portal.
First restoration: Inlay Portal In the Order List you see three new orders from a dentist Sirona Dental Systems (#2920, 2921, 2922). The little chain symbols indicate that these are quadrant restorations (fig.1). Click the View icon on the first order (#2920) to see the details for this order. Fig. 1 shows the order list with an example quadrant case. The little chain symbol indicates each restoration for the quadrant case. This means that the first order that has no chain symbol (in this case #2920) is the first restoration of the quadrant case. The second order with the chain symbol (#2921) is the next restoration for the quadrant case and the third and last order (#2922) is the last restoration for the quadrant case. By clicking the tabs Restoration Data, Desired Lab or Additional Notes you can see the further details for the first restoration. After checking theses details click the Accept/Reject Order Tab.
