Stepper motor -040-9 requires the printer to be fitted with CPU board -040700-90, and the strap P- on the CPU board must be fitted in position BW (backward). This CPU board version can be identified by the printed number 040700.0 at the top of the board. If the printer is fitted with an earlier version of the CPU board than -040700-90, stepper motor -040-95 must be used instead. 30
