ScriptPro TVL (Travel) Segment Script Overview Introduction This document contains an overview of the Worldspan TVL (Travel) Segment Script available to users on Worldspan Res and Worldspan Go! Res. Overview A travel segment (TVL) allows the user to create an itinerary segment to document air and non-air travel services not booked through the Worldspan system. The TVL prints on the I tinerary/invoice in a user-friendly format and interfaces with most accounting systems. A TVL segment allows a maximum of 502 characters and creates travel segments for the 39 associate types Worldspan offers. The user may select from applicable options that allow the associate type for a more precise segment. The script provies the capability to enter: Commission and FOP (form of payment) for the TVL Payment, credit, and balance due Insurance policy, rates, and beneficiary Free form information Cruise, car, hotel, limousine, and tour information Ticketing, prepaid, and seat information Amenities, meal, exchange country and rate, document and cancellation number, and penalty charges. 12/01 Worldspan ScriptPro TVL Segment Script 1
Operating Instructions Script Conventions Colors Burgundy text indicates a mandatory field A black arrow pointing down indicates a drop down list is available for applicable choices for the input box, or the ability to scroll for more information Navigation Use the <Tab> key to move to the next field Use the mouse to click on the next field Use the <Shift><Tab> key combination to move in reverse order Use the mouse to click on a previous field Use the <Alt>key and underlined letter combination to make a selection The <Enter> key may be used in place of the OK button Use the <Exit> key to end the running of the script Use the <Cancel> key as a back button to return to the previous dialog box Defaults When the field option is Yes or No, a blank field signifies No When the field option is a checkbox, a blank checkbox signifies Need to Know Worldspan Go! Access Worldspan Go! Res Access the script from the PNR Index Tab Select TVL Segment Go! to launch the script Worldspan for Windows Access the ScriptPro menu in Res by one of the following: Selecting the Tools dropdown menu and ScriptPro, or Pressing <Ctrl>S, or Pressing <Alt>T and press S or select ScriptPro, or Selecting the Script button from the Toolbar Type Z4TVL.CSL or scroll and highlight <Enter> Associate Types The following are the available associate types: Air Air Taxi Booking Fee Boarding Pass Bus Car Charter Cancellation Credit Cruise Currency Documentation DSC Fax Ferry Fre Helicopter Hover Craft Hotel Insurance Limosine Mail Miscellaneous Prp Pta Sts Service Tck Telephone TKF Ticket Telex Transfer Trn Tour Wtx Xma Select the associate type for your transaction first and provide information about the vendor, transaction dates and status. Then, you enter as much additional information (using the choices at the bottom of the Main Menu screen) regarding the transaction as you want. For this document, a cruise transaction was chosen to demonstrate how the script works. 12/01 Worldspan ScriptPro TVL Segment Script 3
Main Menu The following dialog box displays when the script is called: Select the vendor/transaction type from the drop down options by clicking on it. Select the vendor code from the drop down list by clicking on it. Enter a vendor code override, if needed. Type in the vendor name if the vendor code is ZZ. Enter a beginning date, status (from the drop down list) and number of passengers. All other data is optional. Enter additional information by selecting from the Enter Choice drop down list: o Best Options provides an additional screen where more detailed data about the transaction can be entered. o Enter TVL will generate a TVL segment for a PNR and ask if you want to add another TVL segment. o Acct Options displays the screen to enter detailed information such as deposit amounts and dates, total transaction cost, etc. o FOP Options displays the screen to enter detailed information on the form of payment. o INS Options displays the screen to enter beneficiary information and identify the types of insurance purchased (baggage insurance, cancellation insurance, etc.) o Misc Options displays the screen to enter additional information about o the booking. Add Freeflow displays the screen to enter up to six (6) lines of free flow information. Click OK to continue, Clear to erase your data and begin again, and Exit to end the script. 12/01 Worldspan ScriptPro TVL Segment Script 4

Add Another TVL Segment Once you have selected Enter TVL as your option and clicked OK, the TVL segment is added and the following message is displayed: If you have another TVL segment to add, click Yes and the TVL Segment Script s Main Menu screen displays. If you do not have another TVL segment to add, click No and the script will end and the PNR displays for any additional activity. Error Message The following is an example of an error message which may appear in the Travel (TVL) Segment script: Error messages appear in a Travel Segment Information box The message displays to the right of the yellow yield sign The message is in black When you receive an error message with this script, you must click OK to return to the script and make the corrections. Quit To quit or stop the script, click on the Exit button in any dialog box.
