Introduction This guide teaches you how to obtain the license and how to make the installation and activation of SidekickPC in your personal computer. This guide is a handy reference for the first setup. If you have already installed SidekickPC and you want to upgrade it, a full setup is not necessary. In this case, you should go to the Downloads section in the web portal and get the software upgrade procedure and the related instructions. Instead, for information about the functions of the program, please refer to the User s Manual. You can find it in the web portal in the Downloads section. This guide describes the typical sequence of operations for software and driver setup, in a Windows XP operating system, English version. The actual sequence of operations that you should perform may change depending on the system configuration of your PC. Whenever possible you should, however, perform all steps in their exact sequence, as this guide illustrates. For every sequence of operations, this guide provides a description of each operation and an order number. The first operation that you should always perform is the operation identified by number 1: 1) Click Next. 2) Click Install. In case that there are problems with the installation, you can contact the local trainer. In order to know who the contact person that refers to your country is, please refer to the Contact Us section in the web portal The license is personal. Therefore it is not possible to use SidekickPC in more PCs with the same license number. For this reason, you should submit your application (Subscription Request) for every installation.
