Volleyball Statistics Collected INDIVIDUAL STATS: Games Played, Total Attack Attempts, Kills, Kill Errors, Total Serves, Serve Aces, Serve Errors, Assists, Blocks, Digs, Aced, Bad Pass, Good Pass and Perfect Pass. The stats should be Varsity Team only. Stats will be collected on a game by game basis. Maintaining Your Team s Schedule If you need to make a change to your schedule due to cancellation, date change or because you have figured out whom you are playing against in a tournament you can do so by clicking on the opponent hyperlink listed on your schedule. This will pull the information from that game onto the left side of the screen and you can update the schedule information. Once you have determined who you are playing in a tournament, please check the drop down box to see if that school is listed; otherwise type the school name in the second box. NOTE: Changes that you make on this schedule will be reflected on your opponent s schedule. 1
Adding a Game to your Schedule If you need to Add A Game to your schedule, type in the date, time and home game box (if applicable) and check the drop down box to see if that school is listed; otherwise type the school name in the second box then click on the Add button. NOTE: Changes that you make on this schedule will be reflected on your opponent s schedule. 2
Deleting a Game from Your Schedule If you need to Delete a Game from your schedule, click on the box to the left of the date on your schedule. This will put a green checkmark in that box. Then click on the delete button listed on the top right of your schedule. NOTE: Changes that you make on this schedule will be reflected on your opponent s schedule. 3
Entering Your Roster To enter your roster, go to the Roster tab in the blue menu bar. You will be asked if you would like to copy last year s roster over to this year. Click on the Yes, Copy button. This will establish a link from last year s player s stats to this years stats and will begin a career stat listing. NOTE: If you choose, No, Don t Copy you will not have the Career link established. 4
Updating your Roster To update or make changes to your roster, click on the player s name hyperlink, enter your changes and click on the update button. 5
Adding New Players to your Roster Add new players to your roster by entering in their number, name, grade, position, height and weight. Click on the Add button. 6
Deleting a Player from your Roster To remove a player from your roster, place a check in the box to the left of their name on your roster page. Click on the delete button. 7
Reporting Your Score To report a score click on the Score Not Reported hyperlink on the right side of your schedule. 8
Entering Your Score The game scores must be entered in the following pattern. Game 1 must be entered in Box 1 for each school. The second game must be entered in the box below. Repeat for each consecutive game until the match is determined. All other boxes must contain a zero (0) for the score to be updated. Click on the update button. NOTE: The score will not only show on your page but your opponent s page as well. 9
Entering Stats After each completed match, enter your player s individual stats for the games by clicking on the Stats hyperlink to the right of the score on your schedule page. 10
Entering Individual Player Statistics for each Match After you have clicked on the Stats hyperlink, select a player from the drop down box and enter their match statistics. Click on the Add button. If a player is not listed in the drop down box, you will need to add them to your roster. To make any corrections to the stats, click on the player s name, make the corrections and click on the update button. 11
Stat Completion When your stats have been entered a green checkmark will be displayed on your schedule. 12
View and Print Player Reports You will be able to view your several different reports for your team. You will be able to view and print stat reports for all games played, conference games played and individual game-by-game reports. NOTE: You may need to add the Microsoft SQL Server ActiveX Control to be able to print directly from the report page. The following screen shot takes you through the process of installing the software. 13
Installing the ActiveX Software to Print Your Reports You may need to add the Microsoft SQL Server ActiveX Control to be able to print directly from the report page. Print your report, by either selecting a format (Adobe.pdf or Microsoft Excel), and exporting the report or by clicking on the printer icon. The advantage to exporting your report is that you will have the option to save the data. NOTE: We recommend you view the report using Internet Explorer (IE) because it will allow you to print the report directly to a printer. If you use Firefox as your browser, you will not be given the printer icon and will have to export the report as a PDF or Excel file and then print it. 1. Click on the printer icon. The following pop-up should appear asking you to install the Microsoft SQL Server. Click on the pop-up bar. 14
2. Click on the Install ActiveX Control link in the drop down box. 3. Install the Microsoft SQL Server. You now will be able to print your Stat Reports. 15
Coaches Poll Click on the Coaches Poll tab located in the Blue Menu Bar. Select the teams from the drop down box in the order in which you want to rank them. Click on the submit button. NOTE: The coaches poll has a window of time in which you can vote. Once this window is closed, you will not be able to enter your vote. 16
