NetLabels 3.0 is designed to be an easy to use label printing system. The goal of NetLabels 3.0 is to get our users printing labels as quickly as possible. This user guide helps explain each part of the application. Logging In To login, enter your UserID (e mail address) and password. There is a Remember Me button that will allow NetLabels 3.0 to remember your login so you can bypass this screen in the future. 1
Account Information This section of the screen displays when the Support & Maintenance Subscription will expire, a running total of your clicks remaining, and contact information for the dealer who sold you NetLabels 3.0 2
Subscriptions In order to use NetLabels 3.0, all users must have a valid Support & Maintenance Subscription. The expiration date of this Subscription is always displayed at the top of the Account Information section of the program. When the Subscription is getting close to expiration, the program will alert you to renew by making the expiration date red. 3
Clicks NetLabels 3.0 uses a label inventory system called Clicks to help keep track of the labels that have been used. In order to print labels, an account needs to have clicks in it. Once the Clicks Remaining hits zero, the software will not allow printing. Each time you order genuine NetLabels 3.0 label stock your account will be credited with the same number of clicks as the labels you purchased, without the need for any additional steps on your end. There is also a set reorder point, and once the Clicks Remaining gets below that point, you will be prompted to reorder labels. 4
Design Information This section allows you to see a thumbnail preview of your label design, and also allows you to select a different design if you have more than one. All available designs are displayed in a list box above the thumbnail preview. A description of the design appears below the Design name allowing you to easily identify each Design. Data Entry Grid This is where you enter the information to you want to print. You can either type the information in, or you can import a file. If you import a file, you have the ability to edit the data before you print. Manually Entering Data To begin typing data into the grid, just click in the first cell and start typing. Using the TAB key will move to the next field, and once you are at the end of the row, press ENTER until the data you entered moves down and a new row begins. Importing a File If you already have the data you want to print in a text file, you can pull that into NetLabels 3.0 to save yourself from re entering the information. Click on the Import File button to get started. This will bring up the Select Data File window. Navigate to where your file is saved, and select it. 5
Once you have selected the file, the Data Grid will populate with the contents of that file. This allows you to edit any information, or even remove some rows before printing. Print Count The Print Count column allows you to create multiple labels out of one row. If you enter a 2 in the Print Count column, the information you typed in that row will print twice. Editing Data If you notice that a row you already entered needs changed, just click in that cell to edit the data. There is also a delete button on each row that you can use to remove a row before printing. Start at Label The Start at Label feature allows you to reuse partially printed sheets (ONLY do this with inkjet printers). If you have a sheet where the first four labels have been used, just put a 5 in the Start at Label field, and when your labels print they will be printed on the remaining unused labels. 6
Clear All The Clear All button deletes all the data from the grid. After printing, the data you entered remains in the grid, so you can easily reprint labels if you need to. If you don t need to reprint any labels, simply click the Clear All button to start with a new set of data. Align Labels If you notice that your labels are not printing within the die cut of the label stock you can use the Align Labels button to adjust the alignment so they do. The Window that opens up contains all the instructions to re align your labels. 7
