You can do this either online or at the bookstore. This guide will take you through the first few steps of purchasing an activation code online.
Creating a New Account First navigate to https://iclickergo.com/studentlogin.aspx click on the Create a New Account Button. Initial Setup i>clicker GO gives you an automatic 14-day free trial. Accept the free trial, and fill out in its entirety the online form that you are directed to. Keep in mind that your i>clicker GO ID (which you will enter) should be the same as your Net ID, and that your first and last names in your web clicker profile (not the names on the credit card, necessarily) will have to be the same as those on your instructor s course roster.
First Login Once you have an i>clicker GO ID and password, navigate back to https://iclickergo.com/studentlogin.aspx and enter your ID and password into the appropriate fields. Subscriptions You will now have the opportunity to purchase an i>clicker GO subscription or to activate using a code a subscription that you have purchased already.
Entering a Code If you have purchased an access code previously, click on the Enter Access Code button and enter the code into the only field on the page. Click the Submit button to activate the code. Purchasing Online If you have not purchased an access code previously, click on the Purchase Online button. i>clicker GO will now present you with a series of subscription options by which you ll choose how long your web-clicker will stay active. Keep in mind that if you have any courses during future semesters that use web-clickers, you can continue to use the subscription that you buy now. Click Next button after you have selected your preferred subscription. After you select a subscription, you will be automatically logged in. However, since this login method only applies to a login immediately after subscribing for the first time, this guide will also explain how to login again, on a laptop and on portable devices.
Installation and Login Once you have an i>clicker GO ID and password, you can log into i>clicker GO on any supported device this includes iphones and ipads as well as Android smartphones. This guide will show the process for downloading the web-clicker app onto an iphone. Laptop users can skip to Login Page, on page 6 of this document. Searching the App Store To begin this process, log into the app store on your iphone. From there, search for i>clicker GO and click on the icon that matches the first result in the picture below. Installing the App On the app page, click on the free button in the top right of the page, which will then turn into a green install button. Click on the green install button, and the app will begin downloading to your iphone. Locating the App Now locate the app on your iphone (probably the furthest right selectable icon) and click on it.
Login Page Once you do this, you will be taken to the i>clicker GO login page. From here on, you can use the same instructions for any device, including a laptop, in which case you would navigate to https://iclickergo.com/studentlogin.aspx. Logging In Enter the username and password that you created during the activation process, and click on the orange Login button.
Selecting an Instructor Logging in brings up a list of the instructors using clickers for whose classes you have registered. Click on the one that you are currently attending. Selecting a Class You will then select the appropriate class or section of the class that will be used with the clickers. Syncing Up Your phone will then attempt to sync up with your instructor s i>clicker; once it does, you can begin polling.
