AVer iviewer for Andorid System Quick User Guide I. Using Android system to Access Remote DVR Server Using the mobile phone that is Android system can connect to remote DVR server through the Internet to view the live video. OS Android OS 1.5 and above Note All the illustrations are schematic illustration for user s reference only. II. Download the Aver iviewer To use this feature, it is required to download the AVer iviewer to your mobile phone. 1. Please make sure your mobile phone can access to the internet. 2. On the mobile phone, go to Market and select Search function. 1
3. Enter search keyword AVer to search the AVer iviewer. 4. When AVer iviewer is found, select it and select FREE. And then, select OK at next screen to start installation. 2
5. After installation completed, the AVer iviewer application is installed on your mobile phone and is ready for use. 3
III. Using the AVer iviewer Application 1. To run the AVer iviewer application, go to Application menu on your mobile phone and find the AVer Viewer application to execute the application. 2. After AVer iviewer has installed on your mobile phone, select the AVer iviewer icon to run. 3. In login screen, enter the following information to make a connection with the remote DVR server. After entered all necessary information, select (preview) or (playback) icon to preview live video or playback recorded video. Select status. (I/O) can view sensor and relay Host: IP address or domain name of the remote DVR server. Port: Enter the port number of PCViewer port that user has setup on remote DVR server. [Note] PCViewer port might also be called Video port on some DVR servers. ID: The user account to login the remote DVR server. 4
Password: The password for login authentication. 4. User also can select the DVR from DVR List. To select the DVR server from DVR List, select DVR List button and select the DVR server from list (The selected DVR server will turn into blue highlight). 5. After selected DVR server from DVR List, the screen will switch back to login screen. And, select (preview) or (playback) icon to preview live video or playback recorded video. 6. Select icon can view the information of AVer iviewer firmware. 5
To Preview the Live Video 1. Run the AVer iviewer. 2. In login screen, enter the DVR Host (IP or domain name), Port, ID and Password, then select (preview) icon to connect with remote DVR server. 3. Then, user should see the live video on mobile phone screen. The horizontal screen display has supported. 6
7. Click or button can switch the channel display between 1 and 4-split channels screen. Touch on channel screen can switch to single screen mode. In single screen mode, use figure sliding the screen to left or right to switch to next or previous channel. [Note] The sliding function doesn t support on QUAD mode. In horizontal screen display, when the channels number button is shown that user touches channel screen cannot switch to single screen mode. In horizontal screen display, when the channel number buttons disappeared, please touch screen twice to call out the channels number buttons. 8. In 4-split screen mode, click the channel group can switch to view different group channel. In single screen mode, click channel button to view the channel. 9. Click < or > to go back last page or next page of channels. 10. Click icon can hide the channel number buttons. Click icon again to display the channel number buttons. 11. User can select snapshot icon to save a picture of current video screen. To view the snapshot picture, we suggest using Astor application to manage the snapshot pictures. User can go to the Market to download and install the Astor application. After installed the Astor application on your mobile phone, select Astor >> main (//mmt/sdcard) >> Aver >> Snapshot. All snapshot pictures are inside snapshot folder. [Note] If user doesn t want to use Astor application to manage the snapshot pictures, restart your mobile phone and the snapshot pictures can be found in your photo directory. 7
12. Select the PTZ camera channel and click button to switch to PTZ operation mode (see Using PTZ Function). 13. To return to login screen, click Exit. PTZ mode 14. To close the AVer iviewer application, press the Home button of your mobile phone. 8
To Palyback Recorded Video 1. Run the AVer iviewer. 2. In login screen, DVR Host (IP or domain name), Port, ID and Password, then select (playback) icon. 9
3. In Select screen, select the Date, Time, and Camera that user wants to playback. After select Date, Time, or Camera, selects Done to confirm the selection. [Note] In Date and Time select, use + and to select the date and time. Also user can select the column to enter the date or time directly. Date: The AVerViewer supports the date before and after 10 years from present year. For example: present date is 11/09/2011, then, user can select the range from 01/01/2001 to 12/31/2021. 10
4. After selected the Date, Time, and Camera, select Done to switch to playback screen. In Playback screen, select button to start playback. While the video is downloading, user can select play button to start playback. Press it to temporary stop playback If r the No record data message is displayed that means the date, time or camera user has selected is no recorded video for playback. Then, please select OK and select another date, time, or camera. 5. The Playback mode support horizontal screen display. 11
IV. To Check Sensor and Rely Status User can view sensor and relay status and the relay status can be changed on iviewer. 1. In login screen, select the (sensor/relay button) and Sensor IO List screen is displayed. 2. In Sensor IO List screen, user can view the current sensors status. 3. To view relay status, select the button to switch to Relay IO List screen. 12
4. In Relay IO List screen, user can select the relay and change relay status. 5. In Relay Check screen, user can change relay status to ON, OFF, or Trigger. After select the status, select Set button to confirm and back to Relay IO List screen. Select Cancel button will return to Relay IO List and doesn t save the change. 6. In Relay IO List, select button can switch to Sensor IO List screen. 7. Select Exit button will return to Login screen. 13
V. To Add DVR Server into DVR List User can add frequently connect DVR server into DVR list. 1. In login screen, select DVR List. 2. In DVR List screen, select button to add DVR server. 3. In Add DVR screen, enter the following data: Name: Give a name to the DVR server for recognizing. Host: IP address of the remote DVR server. Port: Enter the port number of WebViewer port that user has setup on remote DVR server. [Note] WebViewer port might also be called Video port on some DVR servers. ID: The user account to login the remote DVR server. Password: The password for login authentication. 14
4. And then, select Save button to complete the adding. User should see the DVR in DVR List. 5. To add another DVR server, please repeat above step 2~4. 6. To edit the DVR server, select (edit) button first, and then, select the DVR server from DVR List. After edit, select Save to save the changes. 7. To delete the DVR server, select (delete) button, and then, select the DVR server that user wants to delete and select OK to confirm. 15
VI. Using PTZ Function Select the PTZ camera channel and click PTZ function mode, click button again. button to switch to PTZ operation mode. To close PTZ operation mode supports in horizontal screen display. Button Description Click direction button to move lens of PTZ camera. The directions are depends on the PTZ camera has supported. / Zoom in and out the image. / Adjust the focus manually to produce clear image. 16
