Introduction The modules of WolkAbout IoT Platform are accessible through the suite of Web and Mobile applications named WolkAbout IoT Tool. This user manual explains in detail the usage of WolkAbout IoT Tool - Mobile Application. WolkAbout IoT Tool - Web Application is thoroughly described in a separate user manual (Web Application User Manual - pdf). The purpose of WolkAbout IoT Tool - Mobile Application is to monitor information collected by WolkAbout IoT Platform in real-time while you are away from your computer. According to this WolkAbout IoT Tool - Mobile Application is a subset of WolkAbout IoT Tool Web Application modules. The document is covering modules of WolkAbout IoT Tool specific for the published version 2.2. Account Registration Prior to downloading and activating mobile application, you will need to register as a WolkAbout IoT Platform user. There are two ways of registration: Mobile registration Web registration Mobile Registration You should download WolkAbout IoT Mobile Application from App Store for ios platform or from Google Play Store for Android platform. When you open WolkAbout IoT Application, the configuration page will be displayed (Fig. 6). To connect to the server you will be presented with the option to either enter provided server address manually, or to scan QR code. The link of the proper server address will be given to you by your WolkAbout IoT provider. After you had connected to the server and configuration process has been finished, a login screen will appear (Fig.1). Before you click on the `register`, enter your email address and password. Note: Register button will be shown if a server is supported by your business case. 3

(Fig.2) The password should be at least eight characters long including at least one upper and one lower case letter and one digit. Fig.2 Now, your account has been registered! 4

Web Registration Depending on the business case, there are two ways in which you can do the web registration: 1. by email invitation You will receive an email invitation to join the Platform containing the account activation link. Follow the link and enter the following: first name, last name and password. The password should be at least eight characters long including at least one upper and one lower case letter and one digit. Invitation link is valid for 24h. Fig. 3 2. directly via link You should go directly to the given WolkAbout IoT Web Tool address. This link will lead you to the login screen with the register button (Fig. 5). Click on it in case you do not have a registered account. After a new window appears enter the following: first name, last name, email address and password. Password should meet the requirements described above. Once the account is created, you will receive a verification email with a link to verify your email address. After verification is done, your account will be verified and activated. The account is inactive until verified. 5

After the verification you are able to login. Fig. 4 Fig. 5 Note: After you click on the mobile button at the bottom left of the login screen, you will be informed about server URL address. You will also be able to see the QR code which can be used only after the account registration. For further details, please refer to Mobile Application and Configuration section of this manual. 6

Mobile Application Installation and Configuration After verifying your account, you will receive a welcome email containing two links. One leads to App Store for ios platform, while the other leads to Google Play Store for Android platform where you can download WolkAbout IoT Tool Mobile Application. If you download the application from your mobile by clicking on one of these links, the configuration will start automatically, meaning that the link for the proper platform will be set. If you download the application from your PC, or from App Store or Google Play Store without following one of the provided links, you will need to manually configure the application. You can connect to the server using its address or scanning the QR code, as shown in the screenshot below. Fig. 6 To configure proper server address navigate to your WolkAbout account, click on `Server info` and QR code will be displayed along with the server address. 7

Fig. 7 Fig. 8 Logging In After the configuration process is finished, you will need to enter your valid email address and password. After that, you will be able to log in. 8

Fig. 9 Forgot Password In case you forgot your password, if you click on the `Forgot password` link, you will be asked to enter the email address. Enter the same address you used for registration. Click `submit` and check your email inbox. Fig. 10 9

Dashboard Screen The initial screen which will appear is the Dashboard screen. You will be presented with dashboards and widgets enabled for a mobile phone. Mobile enabled widgets are: report, reading, point, actuator. You can change the order of widgets by `drag and drop` anywhere on the screen. As shown in the screenshot below, the green mobile glyph, visible in the Web Application, represents the widget enabled for mobile phone. Fig. 11 Reading details are displayed in the images below. On the left side of the screen you are presented with a `Reading` widget while `Point` widgets are on the right side. 10

Note: Actuator displays readings of devices only when previous operation process has been completed. Reports Screen Reports display the history of reading/feed in a form of a graph. After selecting one of the tabs (e.g. Temperature) you will be presented with a list of readings/feeds for Temperature. This module enables you to see readings/feeds from one or more devices. Fig. 16 Screenshot below shows readings for a selected tab (in this example, Temperature). By selecting one of the readings you will be able to view more details. 12

Fig. 19 Or, in order to choose a specific period of time (e.g. to select specific week), select Custom. Messages Screen By tapping `Messages`, you will see all the messages regarding devices and their data, including info, warnings and alarms. Each message is persisted in the Platform whether it is read or not. The total number of unread messages will be displayed on the message icon. By tapping and holding one of the messages, you will be able to choose, within the menu button, one of the options: Select All, Unselect All and Mark as Read. The messages will remain unread until you select ` mark as read.` The bolded text will automatically unbold, and the number on the messages icon will reduce. There is a search button at the top of the page as well, where you can filter the messages. 14

Fig.20 The alarm notification icon (Fig.20) displays all alarm messages which includes three severity levels of alarm: critical, alert and error. By clicking on it, the alarms will be displayed. Fig.21 Note: The alarm notification is visible on the dashboard screen only. 15

Options Screen In the `Options` you can view your username, change server address, and log out, as well. Changing server address will automatically log you out. To connect to the server again, you will have to enter its address or scan the QR code. Fig. 22 16
