Dashboard Tour Overview This article will go through the dashboard and what you can access from it as a learner. How it Works The dashboard is the main page that you will be brought to when you access My Magento U. From here, you can access any courses that you have been enrolled in, and download any certificates that you may have been awarded. When you login, you will be presented with a similar screen as below. Navigating Between the Dashboard, Resources and Catalog Navigation is easy. Simply click on the navigation dropdown located on the left of the screen. From there, you can select where you would like to navigate to, i.e. the "Dashboard", "Resources", or "Catalog". See screenshot below of this. Viewing Enrolled and Completed Courses On the left side panel you will see two numbers, the first is your "Enrolled Courses" filter, the second is your "Completed Courses" filter. To access courses that you have not completed yet, click on the "Enrolled Courses" filter button. Course Filters Launching a Course When you have been enrolled onto a course, you will see it listed on your dashboard. To launch the course simply click on the "Start" button which is listed beside each course. If you have already taken some of the course, you will see a "Resume" button instead where you can launch it from, see screenshot below. Other Useful Buttons The screenshot below details some of the other buttons available on the dashboard. From the dashboard, as well as all detailed above, you can; download your training history, search for courses, and view any Instructor-Led Training sessions which you may have been enrolled in. Viewing Courses Overview This article demonstrates how a course is launched from a learner's perspective. How It Works First, log into your Magento account and select Magento U to access your My Magento U Dashboard. My Magento U User Guide Last Revised 7/5/17 5

After a learner has logged into the system, it will take them to their learner dashboard. By default, the learner sees the courses they are enrolled in on their dashboard. On the left of this page they can see the overall number of courses they are enrolled in and those they have completed, and can access the completed courses by clicking on the "Completed Courses" counter. Enrolled Course To launch a course, the learner clicks on the "Start" button in the bottom right of the course card. If they are already in progress on a course, the call to action on this button will be "Resume". They can also click on the course name to access the course details information. When the learner clicks "Start", the course description and objectives will appear above the first module in the course. Navigating a Course Learners can access the modules in the course using the "Start" button in the top right of the navigation bar, or using the course content list on the left-hand side of the page. Some modules are interactive, indicated with a Spaceship icon. To launch an interactive module, click the Start button below the Spaceship. After clicking start, the interactive module will pop up. Click Next to navigate through the module. My Magento U User Guide Last Revised 7/5/17 8

When you have completed the interactive module, click the x to return to the course content page and view the next module. Other modules contain documents that can either be viewed within the module viewer or downloaded. You can view a document within a module by clicking on the module containing the document. The document will be displayed in the viewer and you can download it by clicking the arrow at the top of the document viewer. See screenshot below. Completing a Course Completing an On-Demand Course To complete an On-Demand course, you must view and complete all modules in the course, including any surveys. If the course includes a quiz, you must score at least 80% on the quiz to pass and complete the course. After successfully completing all the requirements, a completion screen will appear that notifies you you ve completed the course. On this screen, you can also download a certificate of completion by clicking the Download button (also refer to Downloading Certificates on page 16). Completing an Instructor-Led Course To complete an instructor-led course, you must view and complete all modules in the course, including any surveys. The instructor must also mark you as attended for each session. After attending all sessions and successfully completing the requirements, a completion screen will appear after the final survey that notifies you you ve completed the course. On this screen, you can also download a certificate of completion by clicking the Download button (also refer to Downloading Certificates on page 16). Click Download to access the certificate of completion Accessing Completed Courses You can access courses even after you have completed them. The details page not only provides you with your progress within the course but also allows you to access the course content, view certificates and ask questions. Viewing Instructor-Led Course Information Overview This article will go through how to access instructor-led courses information such as dates, times instructors and locations of class sessions. How it Works By default, learners see the dashboard when they log into the portal. To navigate to the dashboard from another page in the portal they will need to click the Magento U logo in the top left of the screen. Viewing Instructor-Led Course Information From the dashboard, click My Live Sessions to view your enrolled instructor-led courses. Select a range of dates to view your enrolled courses. To access course information, click on the name of the session you are interested in. Here you will find important course details such as course dates, times, instructors and locations of the selected course. You can also view the course content by clicking View Course. Downloading Certificates Overview This article outlines the steps required for your learners to download their certificates. These actions will be related primarily to the dashboard page. How It Works By default, learners see the dashboard when they log into the portal. To navigate to the dashboard from another page in the portal they will need to click the Magento U logo in the top left of the screen. Downloading Certificates Now that the learner is on the dashboard, all of their completed courses can be accessed from here. To do this, the learner will need to click on the "Completed Courses" option on the left hand side of the page, and can search or scroll through their completed courses. If a certificate has been awarded, the learner will see a "Download" button for their certificate in the course information. See screenshot below. My Magento U User Guide Last Revised 7/5/17 15

By clicking the "Download" button, the certificate generation process will begin. When the certificate is generated, a link will appear that will allow the learner to download the certificate and view it locally on their machine. See screenshot below. Accessing Resources Overview The resources tab is where you will find a collection of material that your instructors have provided to help you with your training. How It Works By default, learners see the dashboard when they log into the portal. To navigate to the dashboard from another page in the portal they will need to click the Magento U logo in the top left of the screen. From the dashboard, click on the navigation dropdown located on the left of the screen. Select Resources to be redirected to the Resources page. The Resources page includes a collection of documents that will aid in your training. To view a resource, click the download button to the right of the document.
