Conclusions AMOLED display technology results in a significantly thinner display (Z-height) compared to LCD display technology due to the reduced number of films. The selection of a thinner display does not guarantee a thinner display module. New sub-pixel patterns are emerging. Pixel density does not necessarily drive display cost.
