Electronic Transcript Ordering on Banner Self-Service As of December 6, 2017 current students are now able to order transcripts online. Post 1988 alumni with Banner Self- Service access can also order transcripts online. Requests from pre-1989 alumni must be processed using the Transcript Request form on our website at www.wheaton.edu/registrar. Options: Printed or electronic transcripts needed now. For transcripts needed at a later date (e.g. after grades are posted or after a degree is posted), please request them at that point. Also, if transcripts are needed as soon as possible after graduation, please submit a transcript request form to the Registrar s Office so that we are aware of your need. There are various options for sending an electronic transcript: To yourself, to someone else, to a college in the e-scrip- Safe network, to a specific person/department at an organization, and to Wheaton College Graduate Admissions. Instructions for ordering an electronic transcript (see separate instructions for hard copy ordering): Start: In Banner Self-Service, select Student Services, then Student Records, then Request Printed Transcript. Printed means either hard copy or electronic. Important: On page 2 and 3, choose Official Transcript (even if you are sending to yourself). If you do not, the transcript will not send or print. Page 2 NO * here Sending an electronic copy to a college (or organization) Do not use the College Code feature. This feature will fill in a street mailing address on Page 2 and is used for hard copies. Option 1: You have a specific person/department and an email address to send the transcript to. Fill in the information manually. Enter the recipient in the Issue to line on Page 1. Enter the email address for the recipient on Page in Street Line 1. Then, in order to get a confirmation email, enter your name in Street Line 2 and your email address in Street Line 3. Example: college with a specific email address Pages 1 and 2

Option 2: You want to send the transcript electronically to a college that is in the e-scrip-safe network (https://escrip-safe.com/schools/member_list). Enter the recipient on Page 1. On Page 2 leave Street Line 1 blank and we will enter the E-Scrip-Safe code. To get a confirmation email, enter your name in Street Line 2 and your email address in Street Line 3. Example: Page 2 (Page 1 will follow the same procedure as in the previous example) Leave blank Option 3: You want to send a transcript electronically to Wheaton College Graduate Admissions. Use the Internal College feature. The only active option in the dropdown list for Wheaton College is Graduate School - Masters (which is also valid for doctoral level). This will fill in a mailing address, but on Page 3 choose electronic delivery. We send all transcripts to Wheaton College Graduate Admissions electronically, so following these steps will allow us to do that. See also the following page.

Alternative for Wheaton College Grad School: Send the transcript to Nancy Crane at nancy.crane@wheaton.edu (use the procedure for sending a transcript to a specific person and email address). Page 3 Ignore! (for electronic) Choose 1. For an electronic transcript, ignore Zip code error at the top of the page. 2. Do NOT change the Official Transcript button or the Term. 3. Select delivery method to Transcript sent Electronically During business hours, electronic copies will be sent within the half hour. If you requested a confirmation email, look for an email from e-scrip-safe. Copies ordered outside of business hours will be sent when our office opens the following business day. Special situations 1. Holds: If you have a hold on your account, you will not be able to order a transcript. Check View Holds under Student Records to see what kind of hold you have. Contact the appropriate department to resolve the hold and then try ordering your transcript again. 2. Anyone who needs attachments or additional information added to the transcript (LSAC and other professional school applicants): Please submit your transcript request form directly to the Registrar s Office.
