3 Service terms & conditions VirtualApp is currently in pilot phase. Therefore, there is a risk of a service being unavailable. If this should happen please revert to the current way of using the service on campus, which will still work. Please also be aware of the following: Saving files Please ensure that when you are working on a file or want to save a report through the VirtualApp that you are saving locally and not in a virtual file location for example: Default locations like Desktop. Documents and Downloads are virtual locations, files saved here will be lost. Ensure you select any location from your C: Drive or other non-virtual location, like below. Please also note: There is no auto-save function, ensure you save your files at regular intervals. Session time-out Please be aware that the VirtualApp has a timeout which will trigger after 30 minutes of inactivity and will log you out of your current session. If you have not saved your work prior to timeout, it will be lost. For this reason, ensure you are once again saving files regularly and locally.
