I. Logging into EasyIEP To access EasyIEP, you must have a user name and a unique password. Open a web browser and enter your districts URL in the address bar o URL: https://go3.pcgeducation.com/njirvington Enter your user name in the login screen (First Name <space> Last Name) Enter your password -- your password is case sensitive and must contain at least one capital letter, a number, AND a special character Select the Login button Page 2
II. Home Page The Home menu bar located at the top of the screen can be used to navigate throughout the system. The use of browser navigation buttons (page arrows, refresh, etc.) should be limited while working with EasyIEP. The use of browser navigation buttons may result in unwanted system errors. Home Menu Navigation Toolbar: Home returns you to the main menu screen Students allows you to view student information, and begin the process of viewing the IEP for students on your caseload My Account lists contains links to My Info and My Mail. My Info contains your account information and allows you to change your password and update personal data. My Mail displays your message board inquiries. Resources contains a link to Irvington s home webpage III. Updating Personal Information Examples of personal information that can be updated is your contact information, username, title, and address. The title field will print out on documents printed in EasyIEP TM. Additionally, it is recommended that all users enter an email address on their personal information page as some site functions depend on this information (i.e. use of the Message Board). Other information, such as a work phone number, can help PCG contact you for troubleshooting purposes. To Update Personal Information: Select the My Info tab in the My Account dropdown Enter your current password at the top of the page, you will need to do this to save any changes on this page Type new information into the appropriate boxes Select Update the Database to save changes Page 3
IV. Message Board The message board is located on the Home page of EasyIEP. It can be used to ask questions, report bugs, and submit comments to PCG staff. The EasyIEP Message board is a direct link to Support Staff in the Princeton office. The Message board is monitored throughout the day and messages delivered to the board will receive a reply within 1 business day. To Send a Message: On the Home page, select Send us a Message Indicate the Message Type Type the subject of your message in the Subject box Your e-mail address will automatically populate when you have entered it under the My Info tab Add your message to the Enter the Message Here text box Select the Send Message button You will see a confirmation page informing you your message was delivered Page 4
IV. Students Tab Click into the Students tab on the green Navigational bar to view your caseload. Caseloads include any student for whom you are an IEP Team Member. This view provides a quick snapshot of the student s personal information, including basic demographics and special education compliance. Compliance symbols are listed for each Student on the Caseload. Teachers can use the Print and Export options to extract a copy of their caseload. This will provide the user with an external copy of their EasyIEP caseload. Print Caseload will provide a PDF version of the caseload which can be saved or printed Export Caseload will generate an Excel document in which a user may manipulate the data, save, and print the information V. Viewing IEPs From your caseload, click a student s name to enter their account. The Student History page displays the IEPs for the student. To access Student History: The Legend at the bottom of the screen shows what highlighted events mean Selecting the Details box of an event will give the user a snapshot of the important information for the selected event By clicking on the headers of each column a staff member can re-sort the information on this page Reminders FAQ Remember to use the message board to ask PCG questions, report bugs, for deletion requests, or to simply provide suggestions. This is found on the Home page of EasyIEP Do not use the Back button on your browser, as it may cause unwanted errors within your site Why can t I see a View My Caseload button? Your caseload has not been set-up. To create a caseload, select the Wizards tab in the Home Menu bar and then select the Caseload Setup Wizard. Select Add More Students to Caseload Search for the student(s) you want to add Check off the appropriate box for your role towards this student a Case Manager or a Team Member. Select Update the Database. The students have now been added. Page 5
