THINGS TO GET READY BEFORE SETUP Scan the QR code to download LITEdge App For Amazon Alexa user, please download LITEdge APP For Google Home and IFTTT user, please download Smart Life APP 1 5. Click the and Next: Connect Wi-Fi with the Smart Outlet under flashing mode to start configuring your device to your LITEdge App. 6. After configuration is completed, enter the password of your home Wi-Fi. 7. The Smart Outlet is now successfully added to your LITEdge App. Click on the pen-shape icon to rename the added Smart Outlet (you will use this name when controlling through Alexa Echo). 1. Open the installed LITEdge App, create an account with your phone number. Please enter the later received activation number to complete the registration. 2. After login, click Add Device to bound the LITEdge Smart Outlet to the App, which you will be able to access latter using your phone or Alexa Echo. 3. Select Plug under in Select Device Type to start configuring your LITEdge Smart Outlet to your LITEdge App. 4. Press and hold-on the main switch on your Smart Outlets for 10 seconds to make the indicator light flashing. 2 - Share the connected device within the LITEdge App with your Family. - To add more device to your LITEdge App, click the + icon in Devices and repeat step 3 3-7. Choose your device and tap the right arrow to enter the next interface. At the bottom of interface, there are four modes available, including Schedule, Timer, Random, Circulate. The following is details: Troubleshooting: Make sure that the configuring phone is connected to (your home s) Wi-Fi network. Configuration can only be made with Wi-Fi connection. Indicator light status indication: Flashing Waiting for configuration Constant on Socket is connected to Wi-Fi. Constant off Socket is not connected to Wi-Fi With the specially designed LITEdge App, you can control the setting and operation mode of LITEdge Wi-Fi Accessible Smart Power Outlet and turn your ordinary home into a futuristic smart home. To achieve all the benefits, you will have to first connect your device to your home network. 4. FUNCTIONS WITHIN LITEdge APP 3 - Distance access and control the Smart Outlet. 4 5

Schedule Mode: later, turned on at 11:18 p.m., 20mins later, turned off at 11:38 p.m., 2mins later, turned on at 11:40 p.m., 1mins later, it will be turned off at 10:40 p.m. For example: if you set the Star Time at 9:30 p.m. and End Time at 11:30 p.m., then the outlet will turn itself on at a random time between 9:00 pm-10:00pm, and turn itself off at a random time between 11:00 p.m and 12:00 a.m. Note: The interval between the Star Time and End Time must be more than 30mins. In this mode, you can set up the Start/End Time, our smart outlet will automatically turn on at the Start Time and turn off at the End Time. Timer Mode: In this mode, you can choose the length of countdown time from 0 to 23 hours and 59 minutes. If the smart outlet is ON when the countdown starts, the device will turn itself off once countdown is over, and vice versa. Note: 1. If the timer task you want to set conflict with an existing task, two reminders will be offered for you: YES: Directly delete the pre-set timer task which is correspondingly conflicting, and save the new task NO: Setup failure, need to reset the task until the conflict is avoided. 2. Timer tasks can be added to each timer mode. You can also modify tasks which had been added. But delete operation is executable only when the tasks are conflicting. 3. Each mode could be chosen to cycle weekly. Circulate Mode: Under this mode, the smart outlet will turn itself ON/OFF at several time nodes set by you with an adjustable cycling program. Random Mode: For Example: Tap Random to enter the control panel of Random Mode, then choose the Start/End Time. In his mode, the smart outlet will turn itself on/off at a random time point which varies from 30mins before pre-set Start/End Time to 30mins after pre-set Start/End Time. 6 5. ADD ALEXA SKILLS Start Time: 10:34 p.m.; End Time: 11:41 p.m. Stay-On Time: 20mins; Stay-Off Time: 2mins Effect: the smart outlet will be turned on at 10:34 p.m., 20mins later, turned off at 10:54 p.m., 2mins later, turned on at 10:56 p.m., 20mins later, turned off at 11:16 p.m., 2mins 7 Your Alexa Echo will automatically scan and show you the lighting devices that have been previously linked with the LITEdge App, this process will take around 20 seconds. You can now start controlling your device using Alexa, you can give commands by saying: Alexa, turn on/off outlet 1. You can also find the available devices by selecting Discover Devices on your Alexa App. 4. You have now successfully activated and bound your LITEdge App to your Alexa skills. Home 1. In this manual, we take Android as an example. 4.1 Set up Google Home with an Android mobile device You can skip this part if your Google Home is already set up. 4.1.1 Make sure your Google Home device is energized. 4.1.2 Make sure to connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network that you intend to use to set up your Google Home device. 3 4 2.1 Two ways to download Smart Life App A. ADD SMART DEVICES IN SMART LIFE APP 4.1.3 Open the Google Home app by tapping the app icon on your Android device. 4.1.4 Follow the Tap Accept to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. 4.1.5 Tap Allow to allow Google Home app to discover and set up nearby Google Home devices. 4.1.6 Tap SIGN IN, choose one Google account that you had already logged in on your mobile device. Or follow the instructions to sign in a new Google account. 4.1.7 The Google Home app scans nearby Google Home devices that are energized and are ready to set up. If no devices are found, make sure you re near the Google Home device that you are setting up and it s plugged into a wall outlet. Then tap Try Again. 4.1.8 If you only have one device that must be set up, tap CONTINUE. If Google Home app finds a list of devices, scroll to find the device card you want to setup. Tap SET UP. 4.1.9 The mobile device is now establishing a connection with Google Home. If Google Home can t establish connection, move closer to the Google Home device and tap TRY AGAIN. 4.1.10 When Google Home app is successfully connected to the Google Home device, tap PLAY TEST SOUND. It will play a test sound to prompt you that Google Home app is connected to the right device. If you heard the test sound, tap I HEARD IT. If you didn t hear it, tap TRY AGAIN. 5 You can skip this part if you've already add some devices to your Smart Life account, and in the mean time the devices' name is easily recognized. 3.1 Open the Smart Life app, tap Register, then register an account and login if you don t have one. 3.2 Tap + on the top right corner, then follow the instructions to configure your smart outlet to the Smart Life App. 3.3 Press and hold-on the main switch on your Smart Outlets for 10secs to make the indicator light flashing. 4.1.11 Select the Room (ex. Livingroom) where Google Home is located. This helps you identify the device when you want to cast to it. Then tap CONTINUE. 4.1.12 Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to your Google Home device. To automatically fetch the password for this network on this device, tap OK, then the password will populate in the password field. You can also manually enter your password. Then tap CONTINUE. 4.1.13 Google Home device will now attempt to connect to the provided Wi-Fi network. When Google Home device is successfully connected to your Wi-Fi network, tap CONTINUE. If it was unsuccessful, tap TRY AGAIN. 6 4.1.14 In order for the Google assistant to answer your questions and to enjoy a personalized experience, you must sign into your Google account, then tap SIGN UP. Choose the Google account you want to link to your Google Home device, then tap CONTINUE AS XXX. 4.1.15 Google Home can answer personal questions about your calendar, package, flights, and more. If you allow these answers, other people in your home can ask about your info. If you can accept that, tap ALLOW, otherwise tap SKIP. 4.2.2 By setting up in the Google Home app Tap the hamburger menu on the top left corner on Google Home app, then tap More Settings Tap Services, find Smart Life in the list and tap it. Or follow the instructions to sign in a new IFTTT account. 4. Tap My Applets (IFTTT regards an entire task as an Applets ) on the top bottom right corner on IFTTT app. Then tap the + on the top of the page to create a new Applet. 4. Search Samrt Life on the Search Bar on the page of New Applet. 5. In the service of Smart Life, you can choose an action we offered. So far only two actions are available Turn on or Turn off, but gradually we will add more options. For example, we can tap Turn on to build automation tasks through IFTTT. 2. Smart Life app only support that currently, you could add a "this" condition from another app. For example you add "minutes past the hour" action in "this" and choosed "15" in "Date & Time" 6 6. The first time you use the Smart Life Service in the IFTTT app, you need to login your Smart Life account and tap Connect to bind your account to the IFTTT. 7. After that, you can scroll the list of device or group to select the device card of samrt outlet named white. Then tap Next on the top right corner to save this action. Turn on This action will turn on the device/ group of your choosing Which device/group? white 7 8. Tap Finish to save this new Applet. 9. This way, every hour at 15 minutes past the hour we pre-selected, our smart outlet which is designated in the action and named white will turn on spontaneously.
