New Feature Explanation & How-To Instructions Color Play - Yet another Industry-First Floriani Feature We are SUPER excited to bring you a new, industry-first Color Play software feature. You will absolutely love this new feature and how it will breathe new life into all the designs you own. It is extremely easy and fun to use. The only way to appreciate this new feature is to see it in action. Below is a short video that highlights Color Play. Click here to watch a video on this feature.
Filter in the Sequence View Anyone who edits design in any way will LOVE the new Filter system inside of the Sequence View. With this feature you have two filter options: Segments (run, satin, fill stitches) and Thread Colors. The great part about this filter system is that it reads the design that is open and only shows you options for what is in the design. For example, if you have a design open that only has run and satin stitch segments in it you will only see the options to filter those. But, if you have a design that has applique, run, satin, and fill stitches you will see options to filter for each of those. The same is true with the Colors filter. You will only see the colors that are being used in the design. To see this feature in action please watch the video below. Click here to watch a video on this feature. Print Colors Used in Design This feature request came to us from one of our power FTCU users, Jim Stutsman, who digitizes incredibly complex, detailed designs that usually includes lots of color changes. If you have every worked with a design that has a lot of color changes but not necessarily a lot of colors it can be difficult determining what all thread colors you need for your project before you begin stitching. Jim's idea was to have the software analyze all the colors used in the design and have it list those colors at the top of the Print page. So, this is what we did. Thanks Jim for the request! This feature is a print option. To utilize it, you need to go into your Settings for Print Preview and select the "Design Colors" check box to turn it on. Once you turn it on it will remain on until you decide to turn it off.

View Backdrop Icon In this update we added a "Toggle View Backdrop" icon that allows you to quickly and easily view or hide a backdrop image loaded into your design. Center Selected Objects We added a new alignment tool called "Center Selected Objects". When you have multiple items selected and click this alignment options it will take all selected items and center them vertically and horizontally to each other. Enhancements Enhancement Save2Sew Design Processing Default Size change for small fonts Enhanced Mitered Corner Options Text, Artwork, Auto Wizards, and Alignment Icons Description We have been working hard under the hood to enhance Save2Sew to make it better than ever When choosing a font that recommends a specific size, like Line Block 3mm, it will now apply that size when you choose it and press Apply in the Text Properties Box. We added an enhancement to how Steil Satin stitches corner. We also gave the ability to control how Steil stitches handle corners in the Corner Properties box that appears whenever a steil stitch is selected. So, let's be honest, it was difficult to click on the little arrow icon next to the Text, Artwork, Auto Digitizing Wizards, and Alignment in order to access additional options. In this update we did away with these arrows. Now you just click on the icon and the options will appear below. This makes it much easier to access all options available. Of course, we also squashed some annoying bugs!
