Step 2: Play music wirelessly through connection with M-Freebox. Prompt: Avoid using it in a complicated public Wi-Fi network environment (such as, office, airport and hotel), which may lead to unstable connection (play buffer, connection failure, etc.) Two modes are available to play music wirelessly with M-Freebox: Router Mode (Standard Mode) and Direct Mode (Optional Mode) Router Mode (Standard Mode): Router Mode is recommended in a Wi-Fi environment, in which both local and online music can be played. Once Router Mode is successfully set, all devices (such as smart phone, tablet PC, PC, MAC, etc.) within the same Wi-Fi network can share the network directly without any need to repeat setting. Direct Mode (Optional Mode): use Direct Mode in a non-wi-fi environment. Wireless local music play can be realized after successful point-to-point connection, but to play online music, it will generate cellular mobile network data flow. Router Mode (Standard Mode) 1. Download GGMM MUSIC player. For ios users: search GGMM MUSIC in App Store and then download it. For Android users: search GGMM MUSIC in Google Play and then download it. 2
For Mac OS users: Mac OS Download instructions at GGMM s official website www.ggmm.com. After you have connected, you may now play music through AirPlay. For Windows PC users: please download a dedicated music player at GGMM s official website www.ggmm.com. 2. Complete your settings step by step according to prompts or the operation instruction. Direct Mode (Optional Mode) Boot your device (smart phone, tablet PC, PC, MAC, etc.) and then enter Wi-Fi settings, enable Wi-Fi and connect the one marked as "GGMM MUSIC-XXXX". After connection, users with different operating systems may operate according to the steps below: Remarks: after the successful connection of ios device, a symbol will appear in front of Wi-Fi signal icon and Wi-Fi icon will no longer appear on the status bar. For ios user: operate directly with AirPlay. For users with system version above ios 7.0: to play music wirelessly, slide the screen from bottom to top with your finger to enable AirPlay and then select GGMM MUSIC. For users with system version below ios 7.0: to play music wirelessly, double click Home button and find the AirPlay icon in the leftmost multitask bar, and then select GGMM MUSIC. Prompt: please turn up the mobile phone or tablet PC in priority when playing music wirelessly. 3
For Android users: please use the Push button in the built-in music jukebox of the smart phones or tablets to play your music wirelessly. You may also use a third party DLNA music player. Those recommended are as below, which can be downloaded in Google Play store or other Android application markets. Note: if the built-in media player doesn't work due to the difference in phones or application versions, please use a third party DLNA music player. For Mac OS users: Use itunes to push music. When using other music players, you may realize wireless music play through AirPlay. For Windows PC users: Please go to GGMM s official website www.ggmm.com to download a dedicated music player. 4
Indicator lamp of working status Troubleshooting LED is red flashing Reset the M-Freebox.(press and hold Reset button until red LED turns on, approximately 5 seconds) and reconnect. Make sure to input correct password of Wi-Fi network (Case matters). Make sure M-Freebox is in a simple Wi-Fi network environment, since network interference under complicated network environment may result in connection failure. Make sure M-Freebox is in a place with good wireless Wi-Fi signal since too weak a signal may cause connection failure. Make sure wireless router didn t hidden the SSID, didn t use the WEP / Share and WDS setting. Please upgrade the router software to the latest version. Solution to resolve the failure in displaying AirPlay/DLNA icon or pushing music Reset the M-Freebox (press and hold Reset button until red LED turns on, approximately 5 seconds); make sure M-Freebox function is OK in direct mode. Try to connect after restarting smart phone, tablet PC, PC, Mac, etc. Make sure the following senior settings have been enabled for the router: multicast/dlna/upnp/wmm or restart the router. Make sure M-Freebox is in a place with clear wireless Wi-Fi signal since a complicated network may cause connection failure. Make sure M-Freebox is in a place with good Wi-Fi signal since too weak a signal may result in connection failure. As for DLNA mobile device, please make sure if the compatibility of DLNA software is within the support list of help documents in the official website. Intermittent or no audio Make sure that neither M-Freebox nor broadcasting software is silent or in low volume. Try to reconnect after restarting router, smart phone, tablet PC, PC, Mac, etc. Make sure M-Freebox is in a place with clear Wi-Fi network environment and good Wi-Fi signal. 5
Under router mode, make sure M-Freebox is started and is under the same network as smart phone, tablet PC, PC and Mac. Also, make sure if there is any other terminal device connected to M-Freebox. Please try to connect one device with M-Freebox only and push music.
