1. Overview The purpose of this document is to provide Transmission Owners ( TO s) instructions and information that will aid in the preparation and execution of testing for the Project Tracking and Cost Estimation Tool ( PTCET ) project. This testing phase is to ensure the TOs can submit project status updates and/or cost estimates to SPP for transmission and generation interconnection projects. 2. Expectations At the end of the testing phase, all TO testing participants will certify they are ready to send to SPP project status data and/or cost estimate data through the PTCET. Once this certification has been completed, necessary steps will be taken by all parties involved to propagate the data and systems into the production environment. The TO testing participants from each organization will be responsible for communications and statuses back to the SPP point-of-contact during the testing phase. TO testing participants will complete testing at their convenience during the time allotted. We expect TO testing participants to test connectivity to the test systems and resolve any issues prior to June 18. 2.1. Issue Resolution All issues should be communicated to the SPP point-of-contact during the testing phase. Issues reported will be listed and tracked on the Issues section of the Testing Scorecard, which will be posted in the CWG folder on the SPP.org website, communicated to the test group, and provided to the Change Working Group ( CWG ). 2.2. Reporting of Test Results TO testing participants are asked to record their actual test results in the test script provided by SPP. At the end of the testing period, SPP will request all testing participants to return the completed test checklist via email or fax to the SPP point-of-contact for historical record. All testing results will be recorded on the Testing Scorecard, posted on the CWG Projects folder on the SPP.org website, and provided to the test group and CWG. 3. Testing Scope The following test conditions will be tested by TO testing participants. TO can update data or submit a populated SCERT only for upgrades in which they are the owner TO saves changes and resumes data updates in a new session TO submits project status update for legacy upgrade record to SPP TO receives email notification that project status update has been rejected by SPP TO receives email notification that project status update has been approved by SPP TO submits a populated SCERT to SPP TO receives email notification that SCERT estimate has been rejected by SPP Page 3 of 7
