System Status and System reports in myabb/my Control System Introduction MyABB/My Control System is the repository for system status diagnostics and system reports offered as part of Advanced Services to identify irregularities, classify deviations from defined Key Performance Indicators and deliver you recommended corrections and advice about proactive maintenance for your control system SID. The below sections guide you through how your performance, software, security and lifecycle reports for our licensed offerings of Benchmarks, Fingerprints and Health checks about your ABB installed control system are presented to you in myabb/my Control System. After reading the below sections you should also know how to upload a control system data collection to myabb/my Control System to get a summary of selected control system status and how you can create a Benchmark report. Entry points to myabb/my Control System Reports There are multiple entry points to reports in myabb/my Control System. You can get the scope of all your reports for your control system SIDs, or be in the context of only one selected control system SID with a pre-set filter for a specific report category. Show all reports at the myabb business portal Dashboard directs you to the full page view of System status reports and all the reports for the control system SIDs you are a control system administrator or a maintenance engineer, please see Figure 49. Indicator Green tick mark Yellow warning sign Red cross Grey line Test status Passed Warning Failed The test was skipped Details of Lifecycle analysis is described in Section Lifecycle analysis in myabb/my Control System Generation of System Status and Benchmark Reports. There are several ways to upload collected data from a control system SID. To generate a System Status update and benchmark report, a system data file needs to be uploaded for analysis via the Upload system data file. You can upload your system data file at the report repository or at the option on the More button ( ), the process is the same. If data has not been uploaded and published before to MCS for the control system, the System Status widget will be empty. Use the History button of the System Status widget, to reach the Upload system data file button, please see Figure 56. Browse for the collected system data file you have stored locally on your computer and click Upload. The analysis of the collected data starts immediately and usually takes about one minute. When the analysis is completed you will see a green box at the bottom indicating File successfully uploaded. 2PAA108749 Rev K, myabb/my Control System End User Manual, September 2017 35/49

Please note that the file size for Service Products Data Collector tool is restricted up to 100MB. Figure 56: The History button in the System Status widget. Browse for the collected system data file you have stored locally on your computer and click Upload. The analysis of the collected data starts immediately and usually takes about one minute. When the analysis is completed you will see a green box at the bottom indicating File successfully uploaded. Please note that the file size for Service Products Data Collector tool is restricted up to 100MB. As an end customer user you can always update and create a new System Status. For a high level overview independent of any license. To create a more detailed report, both an online version and in pdf-format, you need a valid license to create a Benchmark report for the Control System. Example of system data file upload The below Figures shows the workflow of a case where the control system has a license to create a Benchmark, in addition to the free system status. Press the Browse button and find your system data file that you have stored locally on your computer. Figure 57: First popup dialogue when creating reports in myabb/my control system. Possible reports with regards to licenses for the control system are listed. 2PAA108749 Rev K, myabb/my Control System End User Manual, September 2017 36/49

After you have selected your system data file, press the green activated upload button, and see Figure 58. Figure 58: The Upload button is activated after you have selected your system data file. After you have pressed Upload, the content of the system data file is read, and you are shown what report categories; Performance, Software, Security and Lifecycle as well as what report types and in what language they will be delivered to you at myabb/my Control System, please see Figure 59. After the analysis is completed, you can find your System Status reports at the full page widget of reports. System status and bar graphs in your My Control System widget are updated if the system data file was collected more recent than your previous update and registered data collection date. Figure 59: Report categories available in the system data file, Lifecycle, Performance and Software, as well as what report types and in what language they will be delivered to you. Processing of your collected system data files sometimes need additional analysis by your Local Service Contact. You are notified of this additional analysis after you have submitted your system data file to My Control System, please see Figure 59. 2PAA108749 Rev K, myabb/my Control System End User Manual, September 2017 37/49

Figure 58: Results that need additional analysis by your ABB Local Service Contact. You as an uploader of a system data file that needs additional analysis will be notified via email and the web message, when the system data file results are ready for you at the full page widget of reports. Lifecycle analysis in myabb/my Control System myabb/my Control System analytics provides you with lifecycle status of your Control System (SID) specific installed base for proactive planning of upgrades and provisioning of spare parts to mitigate operation risks. Use ABB Advanced Services Tools, the Service Products Data Collector (SPDC), to collect inventory data from your ABB control system at site or remotely and upload the collected data to myabb/my Control System for analysis.
