ipad Frequently Asked Questions Q: What is Mobile Banking? A: In short, Mobile Banking is a way to access your Verity accounts on the go. From your phone or tablet, you can check balances, pay bills, deposit checks, transfer funds, find your nearest ATM and more. Q: Why is Verity changing Mobile Banking? A: We ve had a lot of member feedback about frustrations with the other mobile banking app, specifically about the loss of Bill Pay, separate login credentials from Online Branch, and continual maintenance down times. So, we went back to the marketplace to see what else was available that would better meet the needs of members. Q: How do I get the new Mobile Banking app? A: If you have an Apple or Android device, you can download it from your app store. Just search for Verity Credit Union. Once you have successfully downloaded and logged into the new Verity app, please delete the old one. Q: How do I sign up for Mobile Banking? A: To use the app only, you don t need to register. But, to access all our Mobile Banking features, you need to register in Online Branch. Features include: o Access Text Banking o Access Mobile Web o Activates text alert options in Online Branch o Allows for adding or removing accounts from Mobile Banking To register, login to Online Branch, click Account Services tab and then the Requests link. Click Mobile Banking Enrollment to select available services: Mobile Web, Text Banking, Text Alerts. Proceed to complete registration. You will receive a text message from 61539 (Verity s text banking number) with activation information and a link to Mobile Web. Save or bookmark this link for easy navigation. Q: What is my login information? How do I get it? A: Your login credentials are the same as what you use for accessing your Online Branch. Please note that you need to have an active Online Branch account to be able to use Mobile Banking. Page 1

Q: How do I know if I have the new Mobile Banking app? A: When you open the app, you should see the following screen: Q: Why wasn t I asked to enter my username? If you use a different device, you will be asked for your username again. Q: I forgot my password and am locked out of the app. What do I do? A: As a reminder, your Mobile Banking login credentials are the same as for Online Branch. If you can t log in to Online Branch, click the Forgot Password? link near the Sign On button. You will be asked to enter your username and answer your security question. If you answer correctly, your password will be emailed to you.
