Downloading and using the ScottishPower energy app The ScottishPower app lets you control Connect whenever you re out and about. If you re a ScottishPower Gas & Electricity customer, you can also use the app to access your account and submit meter readings. Download the app from the Apple and Android app stores. If you already have a ScottishPower online account, you can log in by using the same email and password. If you don t have an account, register via the app. It only takes a few minutes. App Login 1] If you don t have a ScottishPower online account, register using the email address you used when you bought Connect. Otherwise use your current login details to log into the app 2] If you have forgotten your password press the forgotten password option and follow the instructions test@hotmail.co.uk Forgtten password? Get in touch FAQs header in the house Set temperature Set temperature 1] Tap the temperature header to access the Connect functionality 2] Tap Change Temp and swipe around the circle to change setting, then tap to confirm temperature
Set heating and hot water times 1] Tap on tool box (A) to open menu then tap on Set Schedule (B) 2] Tap on days of the week (C & D) then tap to confirm 3] Tap and hold for start time; pull down and release at end time (E) 4] Tap to confirm Boost 1] In main menu tap on Boost 2] Select number of hours and tap to confirm Hold 1] In main menu tap on Hold 2] Select number of hours and tap to confirm Holiday 1] In main menu tap on Holiday 2] Select number of days and tap to confirm A B C Please check the forecast before activating the holiday function and consider any cold weather while you are away Setting On or Off 1] In main menu tap on On/Off 2] Select Turn on or Turn off and tap to confirm Turn on will activate your heating as per your schedule D E Turn off will turn your schedules off
Viewing Monday, push wheel to Edit A simple guide to using your Connect Hub Connect allows you full control of your heating and hot water through the mobile App and through the Connect Hub in your home. Connect lets you control your heating through five key functions: 1] Set heating and hot water times 2] Set temperature 3] Boost 4] Hold 5] Holiday mode Dashboard The Dashboard is the first display you ll see when you activate your ScottishPower Connect Hub. It shows the status and settings of all zones in use. Your zones are shown at the bottom of the dashboard. Set heating and hot water times Set temperature You can set Connect to operate your heating and hot water for up to three on/off periods each day. If you have a combi boiler, you don t need to set hot water times hot water should be available any time. Viewing Monday, push wheel to Edit 1 1] Click on menu/back until you see main menu 2] Using the scroll wheel, select and click 3] Select desired temperature using the scroll wheel and click 1] Click on menu/back until you see main menu 2 2] Select Set Timers and click, then select zone ( Living is main heating zone) and click 3] Scroll to select start time and click 10 : 56 2 Menu Set Timers Holiday Mode Times / On / Off Settings Exit 4] Scroll to select end time and click (selected time period will turn orange) 3 5] To create a second or third on/off period, repeat stages 3 and 4 Menu Set Timers Holiday Mode Times / On / Off Settings 6] To delete a time period, scroll within the orange zone and click Exit Setting heating or hot water mode 7] To confirm the selected time, scroll to midnight ( 00 ) and then scroll to OK and click 8] Highlight and click on next day to set different times, or highlight and click on COPY to copy your selection to next day, weekdays, weekends, or 7 days 9] Click on Apply Settings to confirm your selection END AT 17:30 FRIDAY EDITING: Monday, Living Zone PREVIOUS DAY OK COPY NEXT DAY 3 You can set your heating or hot water to three different modes: Always off, Always On (24hrs), or Timers On where it will go on and off according to the time schedule. 1] Press menu/back button 2] Scroll to Timed/On/Off and click 3] Scroll to select zone and click 4] Scroll to desired setting and click 5] Scroll to Apply and click
Boost If you want to put your heating or hot water on outside your time scheduled, it s simple to boost by up to 6 hours, using the boost button below the desired zone. 1] Click on boost button below living or water 2] Scroll to select Boost Option and click 3] Scroll to select number of hours and click Boost button is lit orange and the boosted hours turn orange on zone dial. 4] To disable boost, click on boost button, select Disable Boost and click 1] Press menu/back button 2] Scroll to Holiday Mode and click Holiday mode 3] Scroll to select number of days (max 99) and click 4] Scroll to Activate Holiday Now and click; display will show a suitcase 5] To cancel holiday mode click any button, scroll to Cancel holiday mode and click Hold (Advance Off) Menu If want to stop your heating before the end of the time schedule, use the Advance Off function 1] Click on boost button below living or water 2] Scroll to select Advance Off and click Boost button is not lit and the advanced off hours turn blue on zone dial. 3] To disable Advance Off, click on boost button, select Disable Advance Off and click Set Timers Holiday Mode Times / On / Off Settings Exit
