Create an ebay Listing Step 1 ebay Listings Screen In this video we will go through how to create a listing with the Advanced Listing Creator. Once you have found an item to list by following the Prime ebay training, we can just click the green button labeled Create. Step 2 - Choose Your Store The first step is choosing one of our approved suppliers from the drop down menu here.
Step 3 - Approved Stores At the Prime level you are able to use Amazon, Overstock, Walmart, Wayfair, Hayneedle, and Academy Sports for U.S based accounts. UK members can use Amazon UK. UK members and other International members approved to sell in the U.S. market can use the U.S. based suppliers as mentioned in the training. Costco, Cymax, Rakuten and others being added are available in the Surge level and above. New stores will be added soon. Step 4 - Listing Templates We have listing templates that can be used when listing with the Advanced Listing Creator.
You can choose a listing template type as seen here in the drop down menu, then you will be able to preview the different listing templates. Step 5 - Selecting Your Template In this example we have chosen the Text type of listing template, as you can see you can now select a specific listing template by clicking the small under the templates. Step 6 Copy Store URL
Now we are ready to copy the clean URL from our supplier. In this example we have found a product to list from Overstock. Please make sure to watch the Understanding URL s or Links Video above to make sure you are using the correct URL for the Advanced Listing Creator. Now we can go back to our backoffice. Step 7 Entering the Information Since we have chosen Overstock as our store we can now paste the Overstock URL that we copied from Overstock in the product URL field here. Next we can choose a template. You do not have to use a template, it is your choice. Now we can continue to start building our listing by clicking the blue button labeled Listing.
Step 8 - Title & Categories Section The first section in building our listing is the title, keywords and choosing the category. One thing to always remember is never use the title from the Source as you see here. We can delete that. Now in the keyword field we will enter 2 to 3 words that describe this item that make sense. Let s enter wall mount jacket hanger, then click on the Show Suggestions button. Step 9 Keyword Suggestion Tool
The keyword suggestion tool helps with two things. Choosing the right ebay category and keyword phrases seen below the categories. You will notice the first recommended category is perfect for what we are listing. We can click on it to select it for this listing. Step 10 - Payment Section The next section is the Payment section. There are four fields in this section as seen here. We will only be changing one, possible two. The profit goal and cash back if you are using cash back calculations. For the Prime level we recommend 10-15 % profit. Once we change the profit goal field the Listing Price amount will change. As you can see here by changing the profit to 15% the Listing Price changed to $60.48. Again the cash back field will reduce your listing price. It is important not to change the Cashback field unless you know what you are doing. Now, let s discuss the Listing Price field here. You should never edit this field. The listing price amount is a combined total of you PayPal & ebay Fees, Your Profit Goal, INFINii Fees and a weighted sales tax amount of 5.56% all included in that amount.
Step 11 - Shipping Section Now on to the Shipping Section. For members listing on ebay.com you can leave everything as it is except for one field. The shipping / return policies has options to choose a specific one. You can even create your own. Make sure you watch the Creating Your Own Shipping Policy video below. Step 12 - Product Information Section In this section we will choose our listing duration, return days, quantity, Brand, MPN and enter a UPC code. You will notice some of the information is prefilled from either the ebay setting information or from our source. Let s start with listing duration. As mentioned in the training we recommend a 30-day listing. If you choose to use a GTC or good till cancel listing, you can click this check box here. Return Days you have 2 options, either 14 days or 30 days. The Refill my quantity to is the number of items you are listing. We recommend using 1or 2 as your quantity in the Prime level. Brand is the actual brand.
MPN you can leave pre-filled if it is empty we recommend using the last five digits of the UPC code. And the final field is UPC code. You can purchase a UPC code from INFINii by click here, buy on ebay from a top rated seller or lookup the UPC code on Google. As mentioned in the training certain categories require a UPC code. Step 13 Description The description area is where you will find the information from your supplier. You want to go through the information to make sure it is accurate. You can also write your own descriptions, which helps with ranking on ebay.
Step 14 - Features & Specifications The features section is the next part of the description area. Again review to make sure they are accurate. Step 15 - Return Policy Section As mentioned earlier you have a choice of choosing pre-written return and shipping policies. In this section you are able to edit the one you have chosen. Please keep in mind changing it here will not save it for next use. You will be required to create your own as mentioned earlier.
Step 16 - Amazon Questions & Answers When using Amazon as your source you are able to insert questions and answers directly into your listing. Step 17 - Product Images The next section is the product images. In order for either of these images to be posted to ebay we will have to click the include box on each of the images. You will also be required to choose one image as your gallery image. A gallery image is the image an ebay customer will see in search results. You can also click on the images to name them as we covered in the Prime ebay training.
Step 18 - Editing Images After clicking on the image you will see pop up window like this one. In this screen you can name your image and resize the image. Once you are finished you can click on save or save to your media library.
Step 19 - Selecting Custom Named Images Once you have named images you will see the named images below the product images. As seen here. Since naming the images created new images we will be required to click the include box for the images you want to include in your ebay listing. And lastly you will be required to choose a gallery image as mentioned earlier. Step 20 Scroll to the Bottom Then you can scroll down to the bottom and click the blue button labeled Next.
Step 21 Variations The next section is for variations. We will go into more detail on how to create a listing that has variation in the next video. Since this listing has no variations there is no variation option. To continue click the blue button labeled Next. Step 22 - Source for Tracking This section is the Source section. This will show you the link or URL that will be tracked in the INFINii Tracking system. To Learn more about INFINii Tracking please watch the next section Understanding INFINii Tracking. Step 23 - Listing Management The next section is for listing management. For Surge members you can activate the Supremacy email management system by clicking the check box here. You will then choose your first message from the dropdown menu here. The next option is the Auto Re-List option. By checking this box, your ebay listing will be re-listed on ebay automatically after your listing has ended. To continue please click the blue button labeled Next. Step 24 Submit or Preview And the last section is the Submit section. On this screen you are able to preview or submit your listing to ebay. To submit your listing to click the green button labeled Submit.
