INTRODUCTION Job Aid Academy Loan Center esign Borrower Process (Mobile) The purpose of this article is to guide you, the borrower, through Academy Loan Center as well as troubleshoot any errors the you might come across. This article is Intended for: Origination V 1.1 26OCT2017 ACTIVATING ACCOUNT You ll receive an email invitation to activate your Academy Loan Center account. IMPORTANT: You must use the most recent email received from your Loan Officer as all activation links will expire after 24 hours. 1

When you click on the activation email, you ll be prompted to create an account with Academy Loan Center. The following information is required: A. Activation e-mail: It should auto populate with the email entered in Encompass. B. Verify the last 4 digits of the social security number: You ll be asked to enter the last 4 as provided to the Loan Officer. C. Create Username: You ll be asked to create a username. You ll need this username to be able to log in later on to Academy Loan Center. D. Create a password: You ll be asked to create a password. Your password must be at least 8 characters long and must contain 3 of the following items: -- An uppercase letter -- A lowercase letter -- A number -- A symbol E. Once the password is confirmed, you ll need to click on Activate your account. B C D A E You ll receive a confirmation email stating that the activation was completed and remind you of the username you chose for this account. 2

Once the account is activated, the following screen will be displayed in your web browser: 3

RETURN TO HOME PAGE In order to return to the homepage of Academy Loan Center simply click the Academy Mortgage Corporation Logo on the Top left of the Academy Loan Center screen. ACCESSING INFORMATION IN THE MENU By clicking the down arrow located on the top right of the Academy Loan Center screen, you ll be able to access your profile, loan details, and contributor details along with a few other helpful resources. 4

These three information menus can be useful for verifying your contact information along with some other key details about your loan. Make sure to review them and ensure that the information recorded is acurate. 5

SETTINGS MENU/CHANGE OF PASSWORD The Settings menu can be found by clicking the down arrow on the top right of the Academy Loan Center screen: Then select Your Settings. The Settings menu will appear 6

From the Settings menu, you can change your password by selecting CHANGE PASSWORD : On the appearing window, please enter your OLD Password followed by your new password. NOTE: Your password must be at least 8 characters long and must contain 3 of the following items: -- An uppercase letter -- A lowercase letter -- A number -- A symbol IMPORTANT: The new password can be set as the OLD Password. There is no restriction. 7

You will be redirected to the Change your password screen. If you reach this screen by mistake, you can navigate back to the home screen by clicking the Return to Login Page link at the bottom of the screen. 8

FORGOTTEN PASSWORD Passwords can be retrieved from the login screen by clicking the Forgot your password? link: Enter you email as the username; then click Send Instructions : 9

Once sent, you will see the following screen: A link to reset your password will be sent to the email provided. IMPORTANT: If you have multiple Academy Loan Center accounts under the same email address you will receive a list of all Usernames under that email. Please see screenshot below: 10

FORGOTTEN EMAIL/USERNAME Usernames can be retrieved from the login screen by clicking the Forgot your username? link: Enter your email in the provided field; then select Send Instructions : 11

Once sent, you will see the following screen: A link to reset your password will be sent to the email provided. IMPORTANT LOAN OFFICERS: If your borrower has multiple Academy Loan Center accounts under the same email address, the instructions you receive will list all properties under that email/ username. 12

HELP MENU The Help Menu can be found by clicking the down arrow on the top right of the Academy Loan Center screen: Then select Help : 13

The Help Menu will appear: From this menu you can click the blue highlighted section to create a blank email to be sent to Business Support: If you would prefer to call rather than email, the number is listed as well: 14

RECEIVING A TASK FROM YOUR LOAN OFFICER When the Loan Officer requests specific documentation to be uploaded through Academy Loan Center, you will receive an email listing the Items needing to be uploaded: NOTE: You may see items on this list that have already been completed. These items do not need to be uploaded again. This is caused by an unfinished To-Do Item on the Academy Loan Center website. If at any time you get confused or concerned that your Loan Officer did not receive the files, please feel free to call. 15

ADDING DOCUMENTS Word Documents with the file extensions of.docx or.doc uploaded into Academy Loan Center can t be previewed in Academy Loan Center but will be retrieved in Encompass. Academy Loan Center will accept files with unapproved extensions (.exe,.arf,.mp4, etc..) but they will be rejected by Encompass. Your Loan Officer will instruct you to re-upload using PDF, JPEG, and Word. General documents can be added two different ways: The first way is to select the Upload Documents button on the top right of the Academy Loan Center screen. 16

Then you have the option to drag and drop the files (drag and drop is not currently supported on mobile) or select the browse button and navigate to a specific folder. NOTE: When uploading Home Owners Insurance (HOI), the drag and drop feature is currently unavailable. Please use the browse and upload functionality in the meantime. A second way to add documents is by uploading to the To-Do List Then selecting General Documents 17

MOBILE UPLOADING PROCESS Once the Browse button is clicked, you will see three options on the bottom of the screen. Select the location of where you have either stored your documents or choose Take a Picture. In this example, we are going to take a new picture. Center the picture in the middle of the screen and click the big white circle on the bottom center of the screen 18

Once you take the picture, you are given the opportunity to either select the picture or take another. If you are satisfied with the picture select Use Photo. You will receive a green notification once the document has been uploaded. The last step in completing the process is to mark the item as complete. This is done by clicking the checkbox next to the task. NOTE: If this box is not checked, the next time your Loan Officer emails you a request for documents, any items not marked as complete will be requested. You can disregard this email. 19

DELETING UPLOADED DOCUMENTS If you accidentally upload the wrong document, you can delete it by clicking on the document: Then select the Delete button on the top right of the screen: 20

RECEIVING AND SIGNING DISCLOSURES To begin signing disclosures select, -- Disclosures (LE & LE COC are listed as Disclosures with the date) -- CD (CD & CD COC are listed as Closing Disclosure with the date) -- Click on Applicable Disclosures 21
