ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL INFORMATION
PARKING Blue badge parking will not be available at this event. We have exhausted all possible areas and unfortunately there are no options available to us. There is very limited Blue badge parking in the local area. Finsbury Park does have excellent transport links and is next to Finsbury Park and Manor House tube and train stations. There will be a black cab rank located outside the road closure on Stroud Green Road. PUBLIC TRANSPORT This information will be added when available. DISTANCES Finsbury Park is a public park made up of mainly level grassed areas connected by tarmac paths. In extremely wet weather conditions wood chip or straw may be laid to assist access. We will be able to confirm the distances across the site and from local transport points soon. ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES ENTRANCE We have a dedicated accessible customer entrance. The location of this entrance will be confirmed closer to the event. VIEWING PLATFORMS/ARENAS The viewing platforms and areas are available for those who are unable to view the concert in any other way. We give all disabled customers priority in accessing this facility. If this applies to you, you can take your PA/Carer with you. In extremely busy periods, we may ask your PA/Carer to move to the back of the
platform if you do not need direct one-to-one support. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and do not have to leave their parents if the platform becomes full. The platforms operate on a first come first served basis and we cannot guarantee access to platforms in extremely busy periods. If the platforms are full, we will operate a one in one out process. SEATING Seating will be provided on each platform for anyone who is not a wheelchair user. This includes seating for PA/Carers. Folding chairs are NOT permitted into the event. TOILETS There are accessible toilets located throughout the event but are mainly by the viewing platforms. Locations of wheelchair accessible toilets will be shared before the event. WHEELCHAIR CHARGING Power points are available on some of the viewing platforms for customers who may need to charge their wheelchair, scooter or medical equipment. DEAF CUSTOMERS We have yet to confirm arrangements for an induction loop facility at this year s event. SPECIAL EFFECTS Flicker, laser, strobe lights, fireworks and other lighting effects may be used during some performances. MEDICATION If you need to bring medication with you, we recommend bringing a doctor s note or a prescription for it if it is not easily recognizable. Please contact the Access team for more advice. SECURITY
Please be advised that we are using airport style metal detectors on entry to this event. Anyone with a heart condition or similar, which could be affected by the metal detector should seek medical advice before entering. TEMPORARY IMPAIRMENTS Please note that our disabled customer facilities cannot cater to people with temporary impairments such as broken bones, healing wounds and women that are pregnant. These facilities are for the specific use of disabled customers and we kindly ask that you respect this. We have these facilities in place so that we can have more disabled customers attend the event. Medical facilities are available to everyone with a number of first aid points across the arena. Stewards and security are also on hand and where possible can offer you help and support if you are unwell or require assistance. CONTACT CLOSING DATE FOR ALL APPLICATIONS ARE JUNE 16TH 2017.
